ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced the launch of new products for esports athletes, as well as the expansion of its partnerships with elite teams and players. As esports continues to shape the expectations of today’s gamers and competitive gaming enthusiasts, ROG is developing the high-performance Ace series, designed with input from professional teams and athletes.

ROG Gladius IV Ace: Optimized for Competitive Gaming
The ergonomic design of the ROG Gladius IV Ace was developed through extensive testing and evaluation. It is designed to reduce muscle strain when holding, lifting, and moving the mouse, and this approach will guide the future development of the Ace esports mouse series. During target-tracking movements, the Gladius maintained consistent speed and acceleration even when the player was fatigued, and users demonstrated better accuracy in scenarios involving rapid 180° turns.

The ROG Gladius IV Ace features a center-balanced design and weighs 56 g. The package includes additional 3-, 5-, and 7-gram weight modules, allowing users to create seven additional configurations to customize handling. Each device undergoes individual automated testing to verify that left and right clicks are consistent within 5 gf. ROG SpeedNova 8K Gen II technology features an enhanced receiver that detects surrounding RF conditions and displays connection quality, while Active Dynamic Hopping scans for optimal channels to reduce interference. Dual LEDs provide quick feedback on the RF status.

The ROG AimPoint Pro 65K optical sensor offers a resolution of up to 65,000 dpi, a speed of up to 800 ips, and a maximum acceleration of 70G, as well as 11 lift-off distance options. With a scan rate of 20,000 frames per second and a polling rate of 8,000 Hz, the sensor quickly captures movements during turns, wide swipes, and precise adjustments. In addition, Zone Mode offers hardware settings optimized for competitive gaming. Players can use Gear Link to configure the mouse’s main settings via a web browser. The ROG Gladius IV Ace comes with a carrying case for safe storage.
ROG Esports OLED Monitors
At Gamescom 2026, ROG unveiled three 24.5-inch OLED monitors from the Ace lineup, which were developed in collaboration with professional gamers. Each monitor features integrated measurement scales on the stand for optimal positioning, a quick OSD menu for configuration, and three Esports Color modes optimized for various FPS gaming scenarios. Gallium nitride field-effect transistor technology helps optimize heat dissipation and extend the lifespan of the OLED panel.
The ROG Swift OLED PG259QWS Ace, with a 720 Hz refresh rate, is the fastest model in the series. The TrueBlack Glossy Tandem WOLED panel delivers crisp images with deep blacks even in bright lighting; peak brightness reaches 1,700 nits, and Dolby Vision support ensures realistic HDR imagery. A position sensor measures the monitor’s angles as preferred by the player and displays them on the screen. This model has been named the official esports monitor for the PGL Major 2026 tournament. The new ROG Swift OLED PG259QWS Ace and ROG Strix OLED XG259QWPG Ace will go on sale in early Q4 at suggested retail prices of $1,099 and $699, respectively.

The ROG Strix OLED XG259QDPG Ace monitor features an RGB QD-OLED panel with a 560 Hz refresh rate, BlackShield film, and a special low-reflection coating. This design enhances black levels by up to 40% and increases the panel’s durability by 2.5 times. It reproduces vivid, realistic colors and glare-free images. The set of interfaces includes one DisplayPort 1.4 (DSC), two HDMI 2.1 ports, and three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports for maximum compatibility.
The ROG Strix OLED XG259QDNS Ace combines the benefits of an RGB QD-OLED panel with BlackShield film and a low-reflection anti-glare coating with a more accessible 360 Hz refresh rate. This allows more gamers to enjoy Ace-level esports visuals and professionally tuned tools. Connectivity options include DisplayPort 1.4 (DSC) and HDMI 2.1.

Expansion of Esports Partnerships
ROG has announced a partnership with GamerLegion, becoming the team’s official peripheral sponsor and providing players with gaming mice, keyboards, mouse pads, and other esports gear.
