Brian Rohloff has officially assumed the position of president and CEO of Textron Aviation, bringing with him 29 years of experience within the organization. Prior to this appointment, he led a large global customer support division and gained extensive experience in finance, manufacturing, sales, and parts distribution. This diverse range of professional roles has given him a comprehensive understanding of how internal decisions impact the specialists who build and maintain the aircraft, as well as the customers who operate them. Textron Aviation is entering a new phase of development with a leader who ensures consistency in direction and reinforces a focus on high operational standards, as well as care for employees and customers.

Roloff’s close connection to Textron Aviation’s aviation heritage began long before the start of his career. The future CEO spent his childhood near the company’s eastern facility in Wichita, where he woke up every morning to the sound of Beechcraft aircraft engines being tested. He later joined Cessna Aircraft Company and began his journey working side by side with teams that designed, delivered, and serviced aircraft around the world.
Over the course of his career, Roloff progressed from leadership roles in finance and manufacturing to managing sales and global support, gaining a deep understanding of the full product lifecycle at Textron Aviation and the nuances of customer engagement. One of the key milestones in his professional development was his involvement in the launch of the Citation CJ4 assembly line in 2009. This experience gave him a deep understanding of the level of craftsmanship required to bring an aircraft from the assembly line to the end user.
Roloff noted that in his leadership role, he strives to be open, inquisitive, and accountable. He emphasized that personal responsibility begins with him and his ability to keep his word, and that a clear understanding of the overall mission and expected results ensures maximum value for customers.

Roloff considers his top priority in his new role to be maintaining direct contact with those working on the ground and with customers who choose the Cessna and Beechcraft brands. He plans to personally visit production facilities and service centers and engage in dialogue with customers around the world to gain firsthand insight into current operations.
Roloff concluded that people should expect him to be engaged, approachable, and genuinely committed to listening to everyone. According to him, the foundation of Textron Aviation’s success has always been its professional staff, the trust of its partners, and adherence to high standards, and it is these guiding principles that will shape his work as he strives toward shared achievements.
