Samsung Electronics has unveiled the new 14-inch Galaxy Book6, which is the more affordable model in the Galaxy Book6 lineup. The device starts at $799 and offers long battery life, the performance of Intel Core 3 and Core 5 processors, Galaxy AI-powered features, and the signature design of the Galaxy Book6 family.
The Galaxy Book6 is designed for work, study, and leisure. It can run for up to 25 hours on a single charge, and 45W fast charging provides approximately 33% charge in 30 minutes. Performance and energy efficiency are powered by Intel Core Series 3 processors featuring the latest Intel architecture. The processor supports Galaxy AI and other AI features designed to help users work, create content, and complete tasks more easily.

The new Galaxy Book6 model continues the series’ signature design language, characterized by clean, balanced lines and a symmetrical structure, complemented by a centrally placed logo. The laptop is 15.7 mm thick and weighs just 1.35 kg, making it easy to carry around throughout the day. The Violet Silver color is being introduced to the lineup for the first time, but the classic Gray option is also available.

The display has a 16:10 aspect ratio and anti-glare technology, which minimizes reflections for a clearer and more comfortable viewing experience anywhere. The laptop is equipped with all the necessary ports, providing a wide range of connectivity options for displays, peripherals, and accessories. It has two USB Type-C ports, a USB Type-A port, HDMI 1.4, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

The Galaxy Book6 also offers Galaxy AI capabilities and AI features. AI Select allows users to select content on the screen and instantly receive information and data while browsing the web, shopping, or watching content online. The AI Cut Out feature lets you remove backgrounds from images to prepare visuals for presentations, product proposals, or marketing materials. Note Assist summarizes notes and highlights key information.
It’s also easier to move content between Galaxy devices. Quick Share enables fast file sharing between compatible devices, while Storage Share lets you access photos, videos, and files on compatible Galaxy smartphones and Galaxy Book devices without having to transfer them first – making it easier to add content from your smartphone directly to a document, presentation, or creative project.

The Galaxy Book6 also helps you work naturally with multiple screens. Multi Control lets you control multiple supported Galaxy devices using a single keyboard and mouse, while Second Screen turns a Galaxy Tab into an additional display. Together, these features reduce the number of steps required to switch between devices, helping users stay focused as information, content, and work tasks flow more seamlessly across devices in the Galaxy ecosystem.
Every Galaxy Book6 undergoes durability testing, and for added protection, Samsung Care+ offers comprehensive coverage for accidental damage, repairs, and replacements. It is currently available only in select markets, but the company promises to expand its availability in the future. The laptop is available with 8 or 16 GB of RAM and a 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB SSD.
