Google’s new smartwatch has long been overshadowed by numerous leaks about the Pixel 11 smartphone lineup, but that’s starting to change. Following earlier reports mentioning the price and color options for the Pixel Watch 5, the first high-quality renders have appeared online.
These renders offer a detailed look at the upcoming wearable device ahead of its likely official debut, scheduled for August 12. The images were released by the well-known insider OnLeaks in collaboration with The Tide Chart. In these images, the Pixel Watch 5 is shown in four metal finish options and two different sizes.

Judging by the published materials, it’s safe to say that Google has decided not to change the design concept for this generation. The Watch 5 model looks very similar to last year’s Pixel Watch 4. It retains the same curved screen with domed glass, the characteristic placement of charging contacts on the side of the case, and Google’s proprietary strap attachment system instead of classic standard lugs. The watch is expected to go on sale in two case sizes – 41 and 45 mm – with each model available in both Wi-Fi-only and LTE-enabled versions.

The color palette will vary slightly depending on the chosen device size. The more compact 41-millimeter version is expected to be available in four color options: Dark Anthracite, Natural Silver, Pyrite, and Warm Gold. Meanwhile, the larger 45-mm model will not be available in Warm Gold, so buyers of this version will have a choice of only three available colors.
In addition to its appearance, unofficial sources indicate that the Pixel Watch 5 will come with the Wear OS 7 operating system pre-installed right out of the box. The new model will also feature slightly larger batteries compared to the previous generation, which should provide better battery life. As for pricing, earlier leaks suggest that the new smartwatch may be about $50 more expensive than the Pixel Watch 4 at launch.

Now that the official renders have been released, we can expect more detailed technical specifications to emerge soon. Stay tuned for further updates as the launch date draws nearer.
