Galaxy S26 FE Revealed: What Colors and Specs Will Samsung’s New Model Feature?

Thanks to a fresh batch of high-quality renders, as well as separate documentation from the FCC, our understanding of the upcoming Galaxy S26 FE smartphone has become much clearer. All of this information strongly suggests that Samsung is preparing to officially announce the device as soon as possible.

Let’s start with the visuals. Currently, three color options have been officially confirmed: black, green, and purple. There’s nothing extraordinary here, as Samsung typically sticks to a subdued color palette in its FE lineup; however, the opportunity to see actual images rather than relying on text descriptions from insiders is a pleasant surprise. In terms of design, the model essentially mirrors the base Galaxy S26 on a smaller scale: the back features a single camera island housing three lenses, with an LED flash positioned next to it. The front panel features a flat screen with narrow bezels and a circular cutout for the selfie camera in the center, although the bottom bezel looks slightly thicker than the others. It’s a minor detail, but these are the kinds of things you always notice.

The FCC regulatory documentation contains much more interesting information. Although the conclusions do not explicitly specify the model of the main processor, they indicate that a Qualcomm chip will handle Wi-Fi connectivity, which differs from the previous S25 FE version, which used an Exynos platform. The new device’s main chipset will likely remain in-house – according to preliminary data from Geekbench, it will be the Exynos 2500 – so the change in the wireless module shouldn’t be interpreted as a complete overhaul of the hardware platform. This is merely the replacement of a single component.

The documentation does not specify the model of the main chipset, but it clearly indicates the use of a Qualcomm chip for Wi-Fi, which differs from the all-Exynos setup in the S25 FE – this fact turned out to be the only real surprise among the standard regulatory documents.

Otherwise, the documentation is entirely in line with expectations: 45-watt wired charging (as before), wireless charging, an NFC module, support for the Wi-Fi 6 standard, and satellite connectivity. The battery capacity will remain at 4,900 mAh, and the display will be a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate.

Considering the test firmware that appeared a few months ago, it’s clear that the device is in the final stages of testing. A September release is a very likely scenario, and out of the box, the new device will run on the proprietary One UI 9 interface based on Android 17. European consumers should prepare for slightly higher costs: the base 128 GB model is estimated at approximately €799, which is €50 more expensive than last year’s model. Given the general rise in prices, this increase isn’t surprising, but it’s worth factoring into your budget.
