iQOO has officially opened pre-orders for the iQOO 15 Ultra in the Chinese market. It remains to be seen whether the device will be available outside of China, but the local debut of the smartphone is expected to take place in early February 2026. The published teaser reveals a number of key features of the new product, demonstrating its design and clear focus on the gaming audience.
The promotional materials emphasize a number of distinctive design solutions that distinguish iQOO 15 Ultra from classic flagships. The camera unit has a round shape with a ring element in the form of a scale around the lenses, which creates a more technical and “productive” visual style.
The exterior design features subtle orange accents that add sporty character and emphasize the device’s gaming positioning. One of the main features is the integration of an active cooling fan located at the bottom of the case. This decision indicates the company’s focus on maintaining stable performance under load. Separately, iQOO announced a special fan protection program, which reportedly provides coverage for up to 5 years. The poster also hints at a smartphone launch in early February.

According to the manufacturer, iQOO 15 Ultra was developed with mobile gaming enthusiasts in mind, who expect instant response, stable frame rates, and the ability to hold long gaming sessions without performance degradation. The company is positioning the model under the “Performance Ultra” branding, emphasizing that this is not just another cosmetic update, but a rethinking of the concept of a gaming smartphone.
iQOO emphasizes its experience in optimizing performance, thermal management, and customizing input systems for esports scenarios. The company’s goal is to create a device that responds to user actions as accurately as possible and provides stable peak performance in competitive games. The brand also emphasizes the focus on immersion in the gameplay, precise control, and latency control.
This approach indicates iQOO 15 Ultra ‘s intention to compete directly with the Red Magic 11 Pro series, which is traditionally focused on the hardcore mobile gaming segment.

According to previous leaks and unofficial information, iQOO 15 Ultra will have an active cooling system with a built-in fan, as well as special buttons for games. It is expected to have a battery with a capacity of over 7000 mAh, which may exceed the performance of the standard iQOO 15, and support ultra-fast charging with a capacity of up to 200 W. Despite the pronounced gaming design, the internal hardware platform is likely to be largely borrowed from the base iQOO 15 model, with an emphasis on flagship performance and additional optimizations for gaming.
