Following the April release of the Edge 70 Pro, Motorola has officially unveiled its advanced version called Edge 70 Pro+. As befits a modification with a plus in the name, the new product inherits most of the parameters of the base model, but has a number of premium improvements, including a periscope telephoto lens and support for wireless power.
The model’s electronics are based on the high-performance MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme single-chip system, which works in tandem with 12 GB of modern LPDDR5X RAM and a 256 GB storage device based on fast UFS 4 memory.1. The Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ displays visual information on a luxurious 6.8-inch Super HD+ Extreme AMOLED screen that has a resolution of 2772×1272 pixels, supports 144Hz scanning and is compatible with the HDR10+ high dynamic range standard. Curved on all four sides, this display panel has received Pantone color matching certification, passed SGS eye-care eye safety testing, and is protected from damage by Gorilla Glass 7i, and its peak brightness is capable of reaching a record-breaking 5200 nits.

To create photo and video content, the developers have integrated a unique system consisting of four cameras, each with a resolution of 50 megapixels, into the smartphone. The main optical module is based on the Sony LYTIA 710 sensor and is equipped with an optical image stabilization system. Additionally, a 50-megapixel periscopic telephoto lens is installed, providing 3.5x optical zoom and Super Zoom Pro digital zoom up to 50x. The ultra-wide-angle 50-megapixel module provides super-accurate shots and macro shots, and the front panel features a 50-megapixel selfie camera with auto-focus. All of this arsenal allows you to record 4K video at 60 frames per second and supports a variety of intelligent image processing functions using AI algorithms.

The power supply is provided by a 6580 mAh silicon-carbon battery, which is compatible with 90W fast wired charging, 15W wireless power, and is also capable of providing energy to other gadgets via reverse charging. According to the manufacturer, one full charge is enough to provide up to 51 hours of continuous smartphone operation.
Other design advantages include dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos surround sound, a high level of dust and moisture protection according to IP68 and IP69 standards, and confirmed resistance to external influences according to the MIL-STD-810H military certificate. The software part is represented by the proprietary Hello UI shell developed on the basis of the Android 16 operating system and supplemented with Moto AI 2.0 functionality. The manufacturer guarantees three major Android updates and security patches for this device for five years.

The Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ is offered exclusively in a single 12GB + 256GB memory configuration for $500. The official launch of retail sales of the mobile phone is scheduled for June 11.
