Motorola is preparing to unveil new foldable smartphones in the Razr 2026 series, but previous leaks suggest that the expected breakthrough may not happen. Despite the intense media buzz surrounding the Razr 70 and Razr 70 Ultra in recent weeks, a fresh detailed report from France, the translation of which has already appeared in the public domain, reveals a number of features that have not been previously reported.
In particular, the standard Razr (2026), which is known internationally as the Razr 70, according to current data, will have a 6.9-inch main AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7450X processor clocked at 2.6 GHz. The device will run Android 16 and offer 8 GB of LPDDR5X RAM along with 256 GB of storage (UFS 3.1).
The camera system of the device will include a main and ultra-wide-angle modules of 50 megapixels each, as well as a 32-megapixel front camera. Power will be provided by a 4,800 mAh battery with support for 30 W wired charging and 15 W wireless charging. The body will be IP48 protected and weigh 188 grams.
The advanced Razr+ (2026) model will offer users a higher screen speed of up to 165 Hz with the same 6.9-inch diagonal. This smartphone will be based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, complemented by 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. The camera configuration is identical to the younger model: two 50-megapixel rear sensors and a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
Interestingly, the battery capacity here is smaller – 4500 mAh, but the wired charging power has increased to 45 W while maintaining 15 W of wireless power. The folded dimensions of the Razr+ are 88.09×73.99×15.32 mm, and it weighs 189 g. As with the basic version, the device supports modern communication standards, including Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, and NFC, but both specifications do not yet contain detailed information about the parameters of external displays.
It is expected that the Razr+ will remain exclusive to the US market, with no analogues in Europe or Asia. Although the international version of the Razr 70 may have different memory configurations, it is unlikely that the budget foldable flagship will receive extreme capacities like 18 GB of RAM or 1 TB of flash storage.
