Motorola has introduced a new generation of foldable smartphones: razr 70 Ultra and razr fold. razr 70 Ultra is positioned as the most powerful solution in the series to date. The device is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite platform and runs Android 16. The smartphone is equipped with 12 or 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, expandable up to 24 or 32 GB using RAM Boost technology. The amount of permanent storage is 512 GB. The key element of the device is the camera with an emphasis on the professional segment.
The main module has a 50-megapixel sensor with LOFIC technology, f1.8 aperture, and optical stabilization. The system is complemented by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle module with a 122-degree viewing angle. The front camera also has a resolution of 50 megapixels. The cameras are certified by Pantone.

The main screen has a diagonal of 6.96 inches, a resolution of 1224 by 2992 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 165 Hz. It uses an LTPO pOLED panel with a peak brightness of up to 5000 nits. The 4.0-inch external display also supports 165 Hz and reaches 3000 nits of brightness.
Autonomy is ensured by a 5000 mAh battery with silicon carbon technology. It supports 68W fast charging, 30W wireless charging and 5W reverse charging. The smartphone also has a modern set of communications, including Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and UWB support. The audio system is represented by stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and three microphones.

In terms of design, the razr 70 Ultra remains compact when folded. Its dimensions are 88.12 by 73.99 by 15.69 mm when folded and 171.48 by 73.99 by 7.19 mm when unfolded. The device weighs 199 g. It is protected according to the IP48 standard. The model is available in several colors, including Pantone Cocoa with wood texture and Orient Blue with Alcantara coating.
Motorola has also officially presented its most ambitious folding smartphone – razr fold, which manages to combine sleek style and uncompromising power. The device received the highest score from DXOMARK in the folding smartphone category, confirming its status as the best camera phone in its class. The engineers managed to create a body that is only 4.55 mm thick when unfolded, while the device weighs 243 g. The case is reliably protected from external influences according to the IP49 standard and is available in two exclusive Pantone colors: Lily White and Blackened Blue.

The technological heart of the novelty is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 mobile platform, which is paired with 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Thanks to the RAM Boost feature, the amount of RAM can be virtually expanded to 24 or even 32 GB, which, together with a 512 GB storage, provides incredible speed. The smartphone comes with Android 16 operating system, and the manufacturer guarantees users long-term support in the form of seven years of system updates and security patches.
The visual experience is provided by two extremely bright LTPO POLED displays that have been certified Pantone Validated. The main eight-inch screen with a 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate is capable of delivering a peak brightness of 6200 nits. The 6.56-inch external display is just as good, offering a 165Hz refresh rate and up to 6000 nits of brightness. Multimedia capabilities are complemented by a professional Sound By Bose audio system with dual stereo speakers that support Dolby Atmos technology.

The razr fold camera system includes three main modules of 50 megapixels each, where the main sensor is equipped with optical stabilization and f/1.6 aperture. The auxiliary ultra-wide-angle module supports macro mode, and the periscope telephoto lens provides high-quality zoom with its own OIS system. There are two cameras for video communication and selfies: an internal 32-megapixel camera and an external 20-megapixel camera. The device’s autonomy is guaranteed by a 6000 mAh battery with support for 80W TurboPower ultra-fast charging and 50W wireless charging. Modern communication standards are represented by Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, and UWB technology.
