The Nothing Phone (4a) has officially entered the global regulatory space, signaling the model’s imminent entry into international markets. The device appeared in the TDRA certification database in the United Arab Emirates, where on January 22, 2026, a permit was issued for the smartphone with model number A069 and equipment registration ID ER55923/06. The product is listed in the register without a commercial name and detailed specifications, but sources agree that it is the Nothing Phone (4a).

According to insider Yogesh Brar’s information released in October, the company is targeting a release of the Phone (4a) line in the first quarter of 2026. This creates a clear launch window with a high probability of an official announcement by March. The A069 model is positioned as the standard version of Phone (4a), while the A069B variant will correspond to the older Phone (4a) Pro modification. This structure completely repeats the approach previously used in the Phone (3a) series.

Nothing continues its tradition of internal code names inspired by the Pokémon universe. Given the model number, there is a high probability that the Phone (4a) will receive the Bellsprout codename, which corresponds to the number 0069 in the Pokédex. The company has repeatedly used such symbolic clues to create marketing intrigue, so in the coming weeks we can expect teasers with mysterious Pokémon-style visual hints.
Along with the regulatory registrations, more and more technical details are emerging. The developer MlgmXyysd has previously published a preliminary list of key features of future devices. According to these data, the standard Nothing Phone (4a) will be built on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 platform, while the Phone (4a) Pro version will receive a more productive Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip. Both processors will be a logical upgrade compared to the Phone (3a) series, which used the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. At the same time, eSIM support will remain an exclusive feature for the Pro model, which emphasizes its focus on a more demanding audience.

Expectations regarding the pricing policy have also already been formed. According to preliminary estimates, the Nothing Phone (4a) configuration with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage will cost approximately $475. The older version of the Phone (4a) Pro may have a price tag of about $540. Both models are planned to be produced in four color variants, including pink, white, black, and blue, which allows covering both the classic and the brighter visual segment.
In addition to smartphones, Nothing is also preparing a new audio product for release. The company is working on budget headphones called Nothing Headphone (a). They are expected to have a plastic body and will be targeted at the youth audience thanks to a rich color palette. In addition to the standard white and black, the lineup will include bright colors, including pink and yellow, which will complement the brand’s overall strategy with an emphasis on design and visual recognition.
