The Nova Post network has expanded its presence to 18 countries by entering the Canadian market. From now on, customers can quickly send and receive documents and shipments weighing up to 30 kg between Ukraine and Canada, while Ukrainian entrepreneurs can more easily enter the Canadian market and expand their export reach.
Users can arrange international shipping from Canada online via the Nova Post website or mobile app, after which they can drop off the package at the nearest of 1,100 partner UPS Store locations or hand it over to a courier. Delivery between Canada and Ukraine takes 5 days or more.

Shipping rates from Canada to Ukraine are as follows: documents and packages weighing up to 1 kg – CAD 37; shipments weighing up to 2 kg – CAD 47; packages weighing up to 10 kg – CAD 99; packages weighing up to 30 kg – CAD 215.
Oleksiy Taranenko, CBDO of the NOVA Group of Companies, noted that Canada, along with all of North America, is one of the key regions for Nova Post’s global expansion. Thanks to the large Ukrainian community and significant demand for international shipping services, Nova Post has already processed over 3,000 shipments, the vast majority of which consisted of products from domestic manufacturers. Nova Post’s next steps will include expanding its network, launching a franchise program, introducing new services, and reducing delivery times.

A key advantage of the new route is the ability to transport goods from Ukraine to Canada without paying import duties. This is made possible by the Canada-Ukraine Free Trade Agreement (CUFTA). In most cases, only the harmonized sales tax (HST) is payable, which shippers can calculate when booking the service; for shipments valued at up to CAD 20 (625 UAH), no taxes apply at all.
