Red Magic is preparing for the busiest launch period in the last 2 years, and May already looks like a key window for presentations. There are 2 devices in development at once: the 5 Pro gaming tablet, the characteristics of which have already been leaked in detail, and the Red Magic 11S Pro+, which has entered the preparation stage but remains without full disclosure of specifications. Below are only confirmed data and leaks without speculation or exaggeration.
The Gaming Tablet 5 Pro features a 9-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 2400×1504 pixels, a refresh rate of 185 Hz, and a sensor sampling rate of 1200 Hz. Performance is handled by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, and the cooling system includes a liquid circuit with a composite liquid-metal evaporation chamber and an 18,000 rpm turbine.

The battery has a capacity of 8300 mAh with support for 80W fast charging. There are memory configurations up to 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. The 12GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB, 16GB+1TB, and the top-of-the-line 24GB+1TB variants will be available. The design retains the signature transparent concept with RGB backlighting and open elements of the internal architecture. As for the 11S Pro+, only the fact of preparation and the presence of liquid cooling have been confirmed, while other characteristics have not yet been disclosed. Information about the folding model of the V series, which is supposed to appear in June, has not been confirmed.
The data of the Gaming Tablet 5 Pro engineering sample has already appeared in the public domain, which is atypical for such an early stage and usually indicates an imminent official announcement. The 9-inch display with 2400×1504 resolution and 185 Hz frequency looks like a key difference. To understand the level, most competitors in the compact gaming tablet segment, including Lenovo Legion Y700 Gen 5, are limited to 165 Hz. It is the increased refresh rate along with a significantly faster touch response that has become the main focus of this model.

Special attention is paid to the cooling system. It uses a circulating liquid system that combines a composite liquid metal and an evaporation chamber with an 18,000 rpm turbine. The company positions this as the first such solution for tablets. According to official data, the processor temperature can drop by 5-8 °C under prolonged load, which is critical for stable operation in games such as Genshin Impact or Honor of Kings at maximum settings. Computing is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, manufactured on TSMC’s 3 nm N3P process, which delivers approximately 10-15% higher gaming performance than its predecessor, according to Qualcomm’s confirmed data.

The lineup of memory configurations includes 4 options: 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, 16GB + 1TB and 24GB + 1TB. The 8300 mAh battery looks a little smaller than expected, but this is because the cooling system takes up a significant portion of the internal space. Thus, the company deliberately opted for thermal efficiency instead of increasing battery capacity. Fast charging with a power of 80 W and bypass charging mode are supported.

As for the Red Magic 11S Pro+, its preparation has been confirmed by a Digital Chat Station insider on Weibo. At the moment, we only know about the presence of liquid cooling, which is consistent with the approach used in the 11 Pro series. There is no information about the display, processor, or price yet. Game triggers, which are typical for Red Magic smartphones, seem to be a logical expectation, but their presence in this model has not been officially confirmed.
