Ukrtelecom became a member of ETIS, a European community of telecom operators and industry experts that brings together companies to share experiences, cooperate and find common solutions for the development of digital infrastructure.
ETIS membership opens up new opportunities for Ukrtelecom to interact with European operators: participation in working groups, joint benchmarking initiatives, including TeBIT, and industry events.
The modern telecoms industry faces increased security risks and constant technological challenges, making network resilience, service continuity, cyber security and the ability to quickly restore infrastructure particularly important.

Ukrtelecom has a unique practical experience of working in such conditions: the company has been ensuring stable operation of networks, restoring damaged infrastructure and maintaining communications during a full-scale war for several years. This experience will be a valuable contribution to the professional dialog within ETIS.
“Resilience in telecommunications is not only about technology, but also about responsibility. Joining ETIS allows us to share our practical experience in maintaining and restoring critical infrastructure in extreme conditions and, together with our European partners, strengthen the safe and reliable digital infrastructure of Europe,” said Yuriy Kurmaz, CEO of Ukrtelecom.
ETIS membership is another step for Ukrtelecom to actively integrate into the European professional community and work together to develop a sustainable and secure telecom ecosystem.
