Xiaomi has officially confirmed the global launch of the 17T and 17T Pro lineup for May 28, 2026 – about four months earlier than the 15T series launched in September 2025. This makes it the earliest global debut of the T-series in the brand’s history.
The Xiaomi 17T features a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Dimensity 8500 processor, 6,500mAh battery with 67W charging support, a 50-megapixel Leica Summilux primary camera with digital zoom up to 120x, and a telephoto lens with fivex optical zoom. The 17T Pro model has a 6.83-inch 144Hz OLED panel, Dimensity 9500 chipset, 7000 mAh battery with 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, and a 50MP Light Fusion 950 main sensor.

Among the confirmed pre-order gifts are Redmi Headphones Neo for standard 17T buyers, while 17T Pro owners will also receive Xiaomi Smart Band 10. The official prices for the European market are $830 for the 17T in the 12GB/256GB configuration and $1110 for the 17T Pro with 12GB/512GB storage. In addition, the possibility of Xiaomi 17 Max entering international markets is being considered.

Xiaomi is positioning the 17T series as the biggest update to the T-line in the brand’s history – and given the Leica Summilux cameras even in the base model, the 7000mAh Pro battery, and the launch four months earlier than its predecessor, it’s harder than usual to dismiss that claim.

The gap between the standard 17T and the Pro version is wider than ever in previous generations of the T-series. The base model has a plastic body, Dimensity 8500, 120Hz display, and 67W charging – a decent offer for its $830 price point, but clearly the entry-level of the lineup. The Pro version has a metal body, Dimensity 9500, 144Hz OLED, 50W wireless charging, and Wi-Fi 7. These are not cosmetic differences in specifications, but a really tangible leap in everyday use. The gap between 100W and 67W charging is particularly telling: the difference is about 20 minutes from zero to full charge.

Both models share an identical camera architecture beyond the main sensor: A 50-megapixel telephoto lens with five times optical zoom, a 12-megapixel wide-angle module, and a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. The key camera news is the Leica Summilux optics customized for both devices, making them the first T-series devices to be covered by the Leica partnership. For buyers who want to get Xiaomi’s computing photography without overpaying for a flagship, this is crucial.

你猜為什麼我要買T系列?
我認為這是一個不錯的選擇,因為它在旗艦級參數和價格之間取得了很好的平衡。
jajaja por ese precio me compro el nuevo pixell 11, sigan no más esperando…
At $1110 price for a phone camera, a dedicated camera of classic quality could be purchased, much cheaper in price!
oh my god, this is going to be a milestone in the history of human evolution, will change our lives forever.reminds me of inventing wheel and fire.Thank you Xiaomi
Why it looks identical to 15T Pro? Which is also Leica btw.
Far too expensive
