Our correspondent attended IFA 2026 and came back with a huge amount of news and information about the latest products. This time, we’ll focus on Xiaomi and its new Human × Car × Home concept, showcased across an area of 3,300 square meters. That is a record both for Xiaomi and, as I understand it, for IFA itself. A total of 380 products were on display, including both new releases and tried-and-tested models. We’ll pick out the most important highlights and use them as the main points around which to structure our coverage.

Automotive Industry
One of those key areas is automotive. Take the Xiaomi SU7 Max, for example – because yes, Xiaomi makes electric cars, and it is doing remarkably well at it. For instance, the YU7 received as many as 240,000 pre-orders… on its very first day! And overall, selling 700,000 cars in just two years, from a company that started out developing a custom Android skin, is pretty impressive, wouldn’t you agree?
The Xiaomi SU7 and its more powerful big brother, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra, are positioned as next-generation sedans. Electrified and elegant, yet distinctly sporty. And we shouldn’t forget the Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo concept, either.
Processors and Smartphones
They are also part of the Xiaomi HyperOS ecosystem and interact seamlessly with devices such as the Xiaomi 18 Fold. For now, it is available only in the Chinese market, but that’s not the main point. Not only is this a uniquely designed fold-out book-style device, but it is also the first device to feature the proprietary XRING O3 chip.
What is the XRING O3? It’s a flagship mobile ARM SoC with ten, rather than eight, CPU cores, meaning it can compete with the Dimensity 9600 and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 in terms of performance, while still offering solid power efficiency.
Yes, it is also exclusive to the Chinese market for now, but we will see this processor in smartphones and tablets such as the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max, as well as in full-fledged ARM PCs like the Xiaomi AI Cube. Obviously, this processor is the most important thing Xiaomi showcased at IFA 2026 for me personally, but let’s keep going.
Robots and Mijia
Interaction with the smart home doesn’t end with smartphones. The Xiaomi CyberOne humanoid robot was also on display at the exhibition. These robots are already being trialled in car manufacturing plants, but their ability to interact with people is being tested in real life. For now, this takes the form of friendly gestures.
Representatives of the Mijia sub-brand were also present at the exhibition; the brand comprises around 2,000 products across 130 categories. These products have already begun to be integrated into the artificial intelligence and IoT ecosystem, have won 500 international awards.
Already available there are Xiaomi Vacuum 5 robot vacuums with wet-cleaning support, as well as upright vacuum cleaners such as the G30 Max with 700 W of power. There are also Cross Door 502L refrigerators with NoFrost technology, Dryer Pro washing machines with a load capacity of up to 9 kg, and even Pro Eco air conditioners designed to cover spaces of up to 35 m².
I’ve left artificial intelligence for last, mainly because there isn’t much to show on video here. Xiaomi now has its own large language models, including MiMo-V2.5-Pro, Xiaomi Miloco, and Xiaomi Miclaw. They will power AI functionality across smartphones, cars, smart home devices, and beyond.
Conclusion
All of this, to recap – including the home appliances and AI models from Xiaomi – is part of the Human × Car × Home ecosystem, which is still evolving and will inevitably expand further and deeper. I’d also like to hope that local AI models will eventually run on chips in the XRING O3 class, but that requires memory – and memory is soon going to cost as much as gold, gram for gram. It already does at Apple, but that’s a completely different story.
