Ukraine Strikes Enemy Depot and Drone Control Point in Occupied Territory

As part of efforts to reduce the offensive capabilities of the Russian forces, Ukraine carried out a series of targeted strikes on key military positions. Ukrainian Defense Forces engaged targets both in temporarily occupied territories and on the aggressor state’s own territory.

In the temporarily occupied areas of Donetsk region, strikes reportedly hit enemy personnel concentrations and a drone control point near Velyka Novosilka. Additional strikes targeted clusters of enemy forces near the settlements of Shakhove and Hryhorivka.

Drone attack

Ukrainian Defense Forces also struck the “Khokholska” oil depot located in Russia’s Voronezh region. The attack reportedly ignited fuel products, with thick smoke observed in the area. Final assessments of the damage are still being confirmed.

Other targets included an enemy ammunition depot in the temporarily occupied areas of Luhansk region. The Unmanned Systems Forces reported on their official Facebook page: “Personnel of the 414th Separate Unmanned Systems Brigade ‘Ptakhy Madyara’ used ‘middle strike’ capabilities to destroy an enemy ammunition depot in the operational depth of temporarily occupied territories near the settlement of Nyzhnia Duvanka, Luhansk region.”

Drone attack

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported strikes on enemy personnel concentrations near the settlement of Huliaipole in the temporarily occupied areas of Zaporizhzhia region, as well as on a battalion command post near Berezove in the temporarily occupied areas of Dnipropetrovsk region. Strikes were also reported against enemy personnel concentrations in the settlement of Kolotylivka in Russia’s Belgorod region. Casualty figures for the occupying forces are currently being confirmed.

Separately, the General Staff provided an update on the recent strike against the “Tamanneftegaz” oil terminal in the settlement of Volna, Krasnodar Krai. The attack took place on the night of January 22, and initial reports confirmed a successful hit. Military sources have now confirmed a large fire covering approximately 6,200 m² and damage to three storage tanks, each with a capacity of 10,000 m³.
