My experience with Ugreen did not begin with these magnetic accessories, but much earlier. As someone closely integrated into the Apple ecosystem – from a MacBook Pro to an Apple Watch Ultra 2 – I have consistently looked for accessories that do not disrupt Apple’s design language and, more importantly, operate reliably. Over time, Ugreen dongles and a stand became stable components of my workspace. Against this background, the MagFlow products, which replicate MagSafe-style functionality, fit naturally into an existing setup rather than standing out as a separate or experimental addition.

The Perspective of an Apple-Centric User and the Rationale for MagFlow
I have long been uncomfortable with desk clutter and tangled cables. While traveling, the need to carry a separate cable specifically for a power bank was an additional inconvenience. This context explains my interest in Ugreen’s two-device setup: the MagFlow 2-in-1 Wireless Charger helped streamline my desk, while the MagFlow Magnetic Power Bank proved practical during business trips and short journeys. Both devices are designed around the same objective – making magnetic wireless charging more convenient and efficient. The power bank, in particular, combines a relatively high capacity with charging speeds of up to 25 W. The following sections reflect my personal experience with how effectively these goals are achieved.

Ugreen MagFlow 2-in-1 Wireless Charger for Desktop Use
The first noticeable aspect when unboxing the 2-in-1 charger is its solid build quality. The device follows a restrained, minimalist design that integrates well into a typical workspace. Its aluminum base contributes both to a clean, understated appearance and to sufficient weight, allowing the stand to remain stable when a phone is attached or removed.

The hinges supporting the magnetic charging pad are well constructed and show no signs of looseness. They hold the iPhone securely at the selected angle, which is particularly important for practical use of iOS StandBy Mode.

Charging functions reliably even through a thick Quad Lock case on a new iPhone 17 Pro. The dedicated area for charging AirPods is a practical addition rather than a decorative one. In everyday use, the 2-in-1 charger performs as expected. The magnetic attachment is precise and firm: the phone aligns quickly and remains in place even during frequent screen interaction. In terms of charging behavior, the device meets its specifications by powering the iPhone at the stated wireless charging rate while simultaneously supplying power to the AirPods case on the lower pad. In principle, this secondary pad can also be used with other compatible devices.

It is worth noting that even during extended periods of simultaneous charging of two devices, the charger remains only moderately warm rather than hot. This suggests competent thermal management, which is generally beneficial for long-term battery health. I also experimented with using the stand as a bedside charging solution, as shown in the photos above, but ultimately decided against it. First, I am not comfortable leaving devices charging unattended overnight. Second, it conflicted with the minimalist aesthetic of my bedside table. While the setup complemented iPhone StandBy Mode visually, in my case it did not add meaningful practical value.
Ugreen MagFlow Magnetic Power Bank 10000 mAh (25 W) for Travel
A 10,000 mAh power bank inevitably represents a trade-off between capacity and physical size. The Ugreen MagFlow strikes a balanced approach: it is compact enough to avoid making the iPhone unwieldy, yet noticeably heavier than smaller 5,000 mAh models, which is a reasonable consequence of the higher capacity. The power bank is comfortable to hold and resists slipping, while the magnetic attachment is sufficiently strong to keep it securely in place, allowing the phone to be used one-handed without constant adjustment.

The most relevant question, of course, is actual performance. In practice, the 10,000 mAh capacity is sufficient to fully charge a modern iPhone approximately 1.5–2 times, while still providing enough reserve for multiple top-ups of an Apple Watch Ultra 2 and AirPods. Wireless charging performance is standard and consistent, even with Qi2 support. The more notable feature emerges when using the USB-C wired port: here, the Ugreen power bank delivers up to 25 W, enabling relatively fast charging not only for the power bank itself but also for other devices, such as Android smartphones or smaller tablets.

Regarding pass-through charging, it works effectively for both the iPhone and the power bank itself. However, as expected, higher-demand devices such as an iPad could not be powered simultaneously while charging from the power bank, likely because the device does not support dual high-speed output.

In the past, I had some experience with Apple’s version of a power bank, but either I received a defective unit or its capacity degraded over a year of use, to the point where it sometimes would not start charging a phone if it had less than 50% remaining. Later, I tried a similar product from Quadlock, which had the advantage of being able to charge devices through Quadlock cases. These cases are thicker than typical ones, so not every wireless power bank could manage it – but theirs could… until it swelled during a flight. After some research, I found that Quadlock had recalled those units. Interestingly, I also learned that airlines keep fireproof containers on board for devices that swell or catch fire; crew members place such devices there until landing for safety. This background gives me a practical reference for comparing Ugreen’s solution against previous experiences with other brands.

I particularly appreciated the small but informative onboard display, which indicates both the power bank’s remaining charge and the current charging mode – wired or wireless.
A Scenario That Highlighted the Value of MagFlow
I used these accessories for over a month, but one particular situation really demonstrated their usefulness. During a business trip to an exhibition, I spent several days moving between meetings. In the morning, still at home, I placed my iPhone on the 2-in-1 charger, and it automatically entered StandBy Mode while I got ready – no need to search for a cable. Later in the evening, after heavy use of the iPhone, I simply attached the power bank while sitting in the hotel lobby with my laptop. The following day, I didn’t have to think about charging at all, and by the evening my iPhone was fully replenished. At one point, I even used the power bank’s 25 W USB-C port to quickly top up my Apple Watch Ultra 2. This is a relevant concern for Apple Watch owners, which is why I always carry a short cable with a charging puck in my backpack.

Ugreen MagFlow is positioned as a premium solution rather than a budget option. Both devices are thoughtfully designed with attention to materials, reliability, and practical usability, which is reflected in their pricing. The cost of the 2-in-1 charger and the power bank is noticeably lower than comparable offerings from Belkin, yet higher than generic, no-name alternatives. This positions them for users seeking a premium experience and refined aesthetics without paying extra for a brand name. At the time of writing, the bundle retails for just over $100 in the U.S.
Functionally, the power bank includes a built-in USB-C cable as well as a 2-in-1 port that clearly indicates whether it is drawing power from a wall outlet or supplying power to connected devices. In daily use, I never experienced any “cable shortage” issues or slow charging frustration. These are not merely chargers – they form a well-considered power management system.

Ugreen MagFlow occupies a niche for reliable and aesthetically considered accessories. For users who value minimalism and prefer a clutter-free workspace, the MagFlow 2-in-1 Charger addresses simultaneous charging needs for a phone, earbuds, and smartwatch. It is worth noting that Ugreen offers a dedicated accessory for the watch that connects to a side port on the stand, though I personally use that port for a short cable I already carry.
For travelers or anyone who frequently finds themselves low on battery during the day, the 10,000 mAh Magnetic Power Bank provides a dependable backup. These devices are more than simple purchases – they represent an investment in convenience and independence from constant access to wall outlets. Overall, they offer a coherent, practical solution for Apple ecosystem users.
