A new AAA game based on the John Wick universe has been announced, with franchise director Chad Stahelski and actor Keanu Reeves involved in the development. Lionsgate and Saber Interactive confirmed that the project is in development for PS5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC.
The title of the game is not yet disclosed, only the concept is known: it is a single-player third-person action game designed for an adult audience. The release date has not been announced yet.

According to the developers, the game will combine John Wick’s signature gun-fu fighting style with Saber Interactive’s experience in creating dynamic and action-packed games. Keanu Reeves is not only involved in the production, but will also voice the character again and provide his appearance for the digital version of the hero.

The plot will be original and focus on an important period of John Wick’s life. It is expected to combine familiar characters from the movies with new characters created specifically for the game. The gameplay will include intense gun-fu shootouts, cinematic camera placement, driving episodes, movie-style storytelling, and a variety of atmospheric locations.
Saber Interactive has previously worked on Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 and is currently working on projects such as Jurassic Park: Survival and John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando. The new game will be the first major adaptation of the franchise since John Wick Hex, which was released in 2019 and recently withdrawn from sale.
