If Nintendo Switch 2 owners wanted a new cozy game, congratulations, we have good news. Nintendo has released Pokémon Pokopia, a life simulator that will bring the atmosphere of a measured life and offer a leisurely exploration of the world. The company is already inviting players to take part in the first temporary event and receive a bonus.

In Pokémon Pokopia, the player takes on the role of Ditto, a Pokémon that has become a little more human. At first, the game world looks almost deserted and abandoned, but gradually it can be revived and turned into a cozy and attractive place to live. In the process, you will have to collect resources and create various items to equip your own home and create a pleasant atmosphere for numerous Pokémon that can settle nearby.

In addition to the main storyline, Pokémon Pokopia has special time-limited events within the game. The first of them will be an event called More Spores for Hoppip. It starts on Monday, March 9, at 23:00 Kyiv time (13:00 Pacific time) and will last until Tuesday, March 24, 2026, 22:59 (12:59 Pacific time).

During this period, players will have the opportunity to make friends with the Pokémon Gooppy, also known as Cottonweed Pokémon. During the event, special cotton spores will appear in the game that can be collected. Once a certain amount has been collected, they can be exchanged for picnic furniture. By using these items to create a suitable habitat, players will also be able to make friends with other Pokémon of its evolutionary lineage – Skippy and Jumpluff.

It is important to note that it will not be possible to meet these Pokémon outside of this event, so players are encouraged to take advantage of the chance to add new friends to their cities. At the same time, the event is only available in settlements where the Pokémon Center has already been restored, and it is noted that it will not be held on Cloud Islands.

The publisher also announced a bonus for players who start their Pokémon Pokopia adventure early. They can get a special in-game item – a Ditto-style carpet that can be used to decorate one of the built houses. To do this, use the Get via Internet option in the Mystery Gifts menu. The bonus can be collected until Sunday, January 31, 2027.
