On August 18, Cubot will expand its lineup of rugged smartphones with the launch of the KingKong 11 and KingKong ES 3. These models are designed for demanding environments where standard devices are prone to damage. They feature military-grade durability, with resistance to submersion in water up to 5 meters, impact protection, and the ability to operate in extreme temperatures, including freezing conditions.
The Cubot KingKong 11 is certified to IP68/IP69K standards and has passed testing for compliance with the MIL-STD-810H military specification. It is aimed at outdoor enthusiasts, travelers, and professionals who require a smartphone that can operate reliably in challenging environments.

The smartphone includes a waterproof USB port and SIM card slot, allowing users to safely take photos underwater. Speaking of photography, the device is equipped with:
- 108 MP main sensor
- 24 MP night vision camera
- 8 MP macro lens
- 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera
- 32 MP front camera.

The KingKong 11 features a 6.72-inch FHD+ display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, protected by Gorilla Glass. On the back, there is a secondary 1.46-inch screen that provides quick access to essential apps. The device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7025 processor, paired with up to 32 GB of RAM (including virtual memory) and 256 GB of storage. Its 10,200 mAh battery is designed to last several days on a single charge, with support for 33 W fast charging. The smartphone also includes 5G connectivity, NFC, and runs Android 15.
The Cubot KingKong ES 3 shows that a rugged smartphone doesn’t have to be bulky. Its aviation-grade aluminum frame keeps the device relatively lightweight and comfortable to hold. This model is aimed at users who need a durable phone for travel, work, or outdoor activities. It features a 10,200 mAh battery, IP68/IP69K dust and water resistance, and compliance with the MIL-STD-810H military standard, ensuring protection against impacts and extreme temperatures.

The KingKong ES 3 is equipped with a 6.745-inch HD+ display with a 90 Hz refresh rate. It offers up to 16 GB of RAM (including virtual memory), 256 GB of internal storage, and support for microSD cards up to 1 TB. The triple rear camera setup includes a 48 MP main sensor, while a 16 MP front camera handles selfies and video calls. The device supports 4G connectivity and includes an NFC module.
The global launch of both new Cubot rugged smartphones is set for Monday, August 18, and they will be available through the brand’s official store on AliExpress. As part of the launch promotion, the KingKong 11 will be priced at $209.99, while the KingKong ES 3 will be offered at $129.99.
