Logitech has officially unveiled the new cross-platform gaming headset, the Astro A20 X, adding it to their Astro lineup. The device is designed for gamers who prioritize comfort and high-quality sound across multiple platforms.

The Astro A20 X succeeds the Astro A20 and delivers premium sound through 40mm PRO-G audio drivers. It also features the same high-quality 48 kHz microphone used in Logitech’s flagship Astro A50 X headset.
We already managed to take a look at the new Logitech Astro A20 X headphones as part of the Logitech G PLAY 2025 presentation in Kyiv:
The headset weighs just 290 grams, making it exceptionally light, while the soft memory foam ear cushions provide a high level of comfort even during extended gaming sessions.

The new headset is also available in a special limited edition created in collaboration with Hatsune Miku, which could be considered Logitech’s cutest headset to date. It features eight customizable RGB zones, adjustable via the compatible Logitech G Hub software on PC. Battery life is impressive: with lighting enabled, the headset lasts around 40 hours, and up to 90 hours with RGB off – more than enough for most gamers.

The headset comes with a unique Playsync base, which sets the A20 X apart from the G522 model. It also includes a new button for quickly switching between two platforms. However, some users may feel that the use of the Astro brand on this model isn’t entirely justified, which slightly diminishes its distinct identity.

The Astro A20 X will be available in October in black and white. It is priced at $179.99, slightly higher than the G522, which sells for $159.99, but the difference is justified by the inclusion of the Playsync base.
