Lynk & Co Zero EV has been spotted in China ahead of its official reveal

The Chinese EV market is preparing to receive a new competitor in the person of the Lynk & Co Zero EV. News on this coming vehicle has been making the rounds in the region for quite some time now. Finally, we’re getting to see live images of this vehicle as it takes a test drive on the streets of China in a concealing body wrap.

From the images we’ve seen, we can confirm that this vehicle will launch as a four-door electric saloon. One notable feature of this coming electric saloon is its rear wing, hinting that it’ll launch with some sporty features. We can also confirm that this wing will be operable from within the vehicle or depending on how the driver applies the brakes on the vehicle.

Our sources point out that this vehicle’s build will be quite similar to that we see on the Lotus Emeya. Under the hood, this vehicle will feature the Geely SEA (Sustainable Experience Architecture) EV platform. This architecture is currently in use on some other Geely vehicles like the Zeekr 001 so we can expect similar ride experiences on these vehicles.

The Lynk & Co Zero EV will launch with four-wheel steering, giving it an acceleration of up to 0-100 km/h in 2 seconds. This electric saloon might also feature dual-motor all-wheel drive capabilities for a more sporty driving experience. For its performance specifications, this device might launch with up to 780 horsepower from its 580kW battery pack.

Driving the Lynk & Co Zero EV for long distances shouldn’t be an issue as this vehicle will also feature a 656km range on a single charge. From the pictures of this vehicle, we expect it to bring some luxury features, and we can’t wait to see what its interior offers. This vehicle will launch in not only China but also Sweden featuring an affordable starting price, by next month we’ll learn more about this coming vehicle.
