Bigme has announced a new smartphone with an E-Ink screen, the HiBreak Dual2. But this isn’t just a gadget that’s great for reading and making calls. According to the brand, this device will be the world’s first smartphone to feature two screens, one of which uses color E-Ink technology. Bigme will launch a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter very soon.

The Bigme HiBreak Dual2 features a 6.13-inch color E-Ink main display and a 5-inch LCD screen on the other side. This design allows users to combine eye-friendly reading with a standard smartphone interface. The model continues the tradition of the HiBreak Dual smartphone, which also had an additional LCD display on the back. However, in the previous model, this screen was small, with a resolution of 360×360, and could be used to answer calls, check the time, view notifications, and more.
