The Palaye team reported that the fourth Ukrainian Games Festival achieved the strongest results in the event’s history. Between August 14 and 21, the festival’s Steam page drew 2.4 million visitors – nearly a million more than last year. Organizers noted that this figure does not account for repeat visits or views from users who weren’t logged into their accounts, meaning the actual reach may be even higher.

Attendance at the Ukrainian Games Festival has been growing for four consecutive years. Since 2023, the event has received official support from Valve, which places it on Steam’s front page and exposes it to an even wider audience on the platform.

As part of Ukrainian Games Festival 2025, 23 new projects were announced. Among them are The Road of Dust and Sorrow by Painted Black Games, DDoD by The Future Entertainment Company, Valkyrie Iteration by TERNOX, Rhythm Katana Dance by GETTAKE, Chumaky by Kyiv Indie Titans, and Manic Pixie Dreamgirls (Kajan Collaboration), among others. In addition to the announcements, 24 new demos were released specifically for the festival. Players had the chance to try titles such as Aliosso by Fioretto Studio, Floralis by SolidCore Games, Whispers Among the Poppies by Rapid Snail, Comix Zero by Bear Games, and many others. In total, more than 120 demos were available during the event.

The event once again demonstrated its value as a platform for promoting Ukrainian games to a global audience. Many projects gained thousands of new additions to Steam wishlists. For instance, Painted Black Games reported 30,000 wishlist adds for The Road of Dust and Sorrow, while solo developer TERNOX saw 15,000 adds for Valkyrie Iteration.

In 2025, the festival brought together 471 Ukrainian projects. The accompanying Steam sale featured more than 200 games, including well-known series such as S.T.A.L.K.E.R. from GSC Game World, Metro from 4A Games, and Sherlock Holmes from Frogwares. Attendees also had the chance to pick up dozens of popular indie titles, including STONKS-9800, Titan Chaser, and Becastled.

The Palaye team confirmed that the Ukrainian Games Festival will return in 2026.
