Apple Studio Display may be updated sooner than users expected. This was reported by Bloomberg analyst Mark Gurman, drawing attention to the change in the delivery time of the monitor for certain configurations. According to him, new batches of the device are currently expected in late February or early March, which may indicate that the company is preparing to launch an updated version.
In the latest edition of the Power On newsletter, Gurman noted that the base model of the Studio Display has become scarce both in Apple’s online store and in retail outlets. The delay in deliveries coincides with the analyst’s previous forecasts, according to which the release of the new generation of the monitor is scheduled for the first half of 2026.

This is not the only signal that indicates the announcement is coming. Last month, an unreleased Apple external display was spotted in regulatory databases, which traditionally precedes the official presentation of new products.
The rumors that appeared in December also attract additional attention. According to the available information, the updated Studio Display will receive three key technical improvements at once. These are the integration of the new A19 chip, support for ProMotion technology with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, and the introduction of a full HDR mode for improved color reproduction and contrast.

Along with the preparation of the new display, Apple is also approaching the update of its laptop line. Mark Gurman reports that the company is already preparing to release MacBook Pro models based on M5 Pro and M5 Max processors. According to him, these devices may be presented in the near future, which indicates an active phase of hardware upgrades in the Apple ecosystem.
