be quiet! announces the Dark Rock Pro 6 and Dark Rock 6, ushering in a new phase of development for its iconic line of air cooling systems. The new products are aimed at productive configurations, overclocked platforms and quiet PCs where a balance of efficiency, compatibility and acoustic comfort is critical.

Both coolers feature a completely redesigned design, significantly improved heat dissipation efficiency with redesigned heatsinks and improved heatpipes, and enhanced functionality for increased ease of installation and compatibility.
The solutions are aimed at users who need powerful cooling, wide support for modern motherboards and memory modules, as well as the quietest operation traditionally associated with the Dark Rock series.

According to the CEO of be quiet! Aaron Licht, the company is taking the high-end air cooling segment to a new level with the launch of Dark Rock Pro 6 and Dark Rock 6. According to him, the combination of increased performance and even lower noise levels, including the optional semi-passive mode in the Dark Rock 6, delivers the efficiency and sleek design that the brand’s users expect, regardless of the type of system, whether it’s an overclocked workstation or a compact, high-performance gaming PC.
The Dark Rock Pro 6 is designed for maximum loads and delivers very high levels of cooling with minimal noise, making it suitable for extremely overclocked configurations and demanding workstations. Compared to the previous generation, the model has a redesigned heatsink, 7 high-efficiency heatpipes, as well as a pair of specially designed Silent Wings fans and advanced management capabilities. A built-in hardware switch allows you to choose between maximum performance mode and quiet semi-passive mode, in which the fans stop completely at a PWM signal of up to 40%, ensuring complete silence.

The two 135mm and 120mm Silent Wings PWM fans work in sync to deliver optimal airflow with very low noise. The front fan is height adjustable with a rail system, and special cutouts in the heatsink increase compatibility with RAM modules and VRM heatsinks. Mounting is made easy with convenient mounting hardware for both the fans and the heatsink. The top panel with brushed aluminum nameplate, side elements and black finish with ceramic particles form the characteristic discreet design of be quiet! The nickel-plated base supports liquid metal-based thermal pastes and comes with a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty.
The Dark Rock 6 offers high performance in a more compact format and is aimed at enthusiasts and gamers who value compatibility and quiet operation in high-performance systems. It replaces two models at once, the Dark Rock Slim and Dark Rock 5, with a completely new design, an upgraded heatsink, 6 heatpipes and a specially designed 135mm diameter Silent Wings fan. Like the older model, it features a hardware switch between performance mode and semi-passive mode with a complete fan stop at PWM up to 40%.

The asymmetrical layout of the Dark Rock 6 along with the heatsink cutouts significantly improves compatibility with memory and VRM in a wide range of configurations. The cooler also features a rack and pinion fan mounting system, a proprietary black finish with ceramic particles, and a magnetic top cover with a brushed aluminum decorative element. The nickel-plated base ensures compatibility with liquid metal, and the warranty is 3 years.
Dark Rock Pro 6 and Dark Rock 6 will be available in retail on May 19, 2026.
