Renders of the Honor 600 and 600 Pro, which look like official renders, have appeared on the web and come from well-known insiders Roland Quandt and Smart Pikachu. The design discussion immediately centered around the obvious analogy.
Both models have a horizontal camera unit that stretches across the entire width of the back. This approach almost completely repeats the style of the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Honor does not actually hide the source of inspiration.

The published images show a wide horizontal camera panel with lenses, flash and autofocus modules. Visually, this solution directly echoes the design of the iPhone 17 Pro. Both models are equipped with 6.57-inch OLED displays with a 1.5K resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, and a single-hole front camera. A 200-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization is announced for both versions.
The basic Honor 600 has a dual primary camera, while the Pro version gets an additional telephoto lens. Both devices have a 9000 mAh battery, a metal frame, a glass back, and a separate button for AI functions on the side. Three color options have also been confirmed: black, gold, and orange, with the latter being very similar to Apple’s Cosmic Orange shade.

Comparisons with the iPhone 17 Pro seem inevitable. To put it bluntly, the back of the Honor 600 series is not just inspired by Apple’s solution, but actually repeats its visual concept. The horizontal camera block, which spans the entire width of the case and combines all sensors along with the flash, is fully consistent with the design language presented by Apple in the iPhone 17 line. Even the choice of bright orange color along with black and gold looks too close to the Cosmic Orange variant. This is not the first time Honor has focused on Apple’s aesthetics. The previous Honor 500 series has already evoked associations with the iPhone Air. In the new generation, this approach has been strengthened, and the design has become clearer and more structured, moving away from the softer visual concept used earlier.
The question of how important the origin of design is to buyers remains open. For many, it may be the features that make the difference. The combination of a 9000 mAh battery and a 200 megapixel camera in an iPhone-like body, along with a competitive price in the European market, can be compelling in itself.

From a technical point of view, the series looks quite strong. The battery capacity of 9000 mAh is atypical for this segment. The main 200-megapixel sensor with optical stabilization is installed in both the standard and Pro versions, which makes it possible to compare the characteristics with confidence. The Pro version gets a telephoto lens, while the base model is limited to wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle cameras.
According to the leaks, the devices are equipped with Snapdragon 8 series chipsets, but the Geekbench results for the standard Honor 600 pointed to a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, which could mean a significantly lower level of performance. This contradiction has not yet been confirmed and remains an open question. The official teasers from Honor Malaysia have already appeared with the slogans Next Design, Next AI, and Next-Gen Camera, which directly hints at the imminent announcement of new products.
