Lenovo is expanding its gaming lineup with new LOQ Essential PCs and Legion monitors

Lenovo has introduced new LOQ series laptops, the LOQ Tower desktop system, and two Legion monitors designed for users taking their first steps into the world of gaming.

Lenovo’s gaming portfolio is designed to support users of all skill levels, helping them achieve their goals in esports, education, or game design. The LOQ series offers an affordable entry point into the world of PC gaming, and the LOQ Essential models are the entry-level devices in the lineup. Meanwhile, the Legion brand focuses on high-performance laptops, PCs, monitors, and peripherals for enthusiasts, content creators, and esports athletes.

Legion monitors reflect a similar approach, offering a variety of display technologies, sizes, and resolutions to maximize the potential of gaming systems.

Lenovo supports gaming beyond just hardware production. As an official founding partner of the Esports World Cup, Lenovo provides top players with Legion equipment during key stages of the world’s largest tournament. That said, the company’s lineup isn’t designed solely for professional esports athletes. Every gamer starts with the basics, and the new LOQ Essential models form the entry-level segment of the LOQ lineup, providing Windows 11 users with everything they need to get started.

Lenovo LOQ Essential 15IPH11 in Eclipse Black

The Lenovo LOQ Essential 15IPH11 is designed for students who need a versatile device for studying, content creation, and gaming. The laptop is built on a unified memory architecture, where the Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processor and integrated Intel Arc graphics share a common pool of high-speed RAM.

Instead of a fixed amount of video memory, the system dynamically allocates resources as needed, ensuring smooth performance in online games, AAA titles, during live streams, and when running applications. Intel Arc graphics support hardware-accelerated ray tracing and Intel XeSS AI upscaling to enhance image clarity and frame rates, while a dedicated NPU handles AI tasks.

Lenovo LOQ Essential 15IPH11 in Luna Grey

Thanks to its energy-efficient integrated architecture, the device consumes less power and generates less heat compared to discrete GPUs, achieving up to 21 hours of battery life, while also operating more quietly and running cooler.

The 15.3-inch display with a 16:10 aspect ratio features a refresh rate of up to 165 Hz and 100% sRGB coverage. The chassis is 10% lighter and thinner than previous models. Thunderbolt 4 support allows the laptop to be charged via USB-C at 65–100 W, and two memory and SSD slots provide room for future upgrades.

Lenovo LOQ Essential 15IRH11 in Eclipse Black and Luna Grey

The Lenovo LOQ Essential 15IRH11 combines Intel Core 200 Series processors with a discrete NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU. It features a 15.3-inch 16:10 display with a refresh rate of up to 165 Hz and 100% sRGB coverage.

The device’s chassis is also 10% thinner and lighter. The keyboard, with translucent keys and purple accents, adds a gaming-inspired touch while maintaining a understated look.

Lenovo LOQ Tower 17IRH11

The Lenovo LOQ Tower 17IRH11 desktop PC offers a ready-to-use solution with the option for future upgrades. The computer is equipped with Intel Core 200 Series processors and graphics cards up to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs based on the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture deliver high computing power for AI tasks.

NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 technology boosts performance, while the NVIDIA Studio platform expands creative possibilities. The PC supports up to 32 GB of DDR5 memory at 5600 MT/s, and Easy Upgrade Access simplifies component replacement. The inclusion of a PCIe Gen 4 SSD and support for Wi-Fi 7 lay the foundation for future system upgrades.

Lenovo LOQ Tower 17IRH11

The PC’s cooling system uses a hidden air duct and multiple operating modes to balance noise and performance. The case features a two-tone design in Raven Black and Luna Grey, while the Legion Space and Nahimic by SteelSeries software handle audio and settings.

Lenovo Legion 27Q-20 Monitor

The Legion 27Q-20 and 27U-20 monitors are equipped with 27-inch Lenovo PureSight Fast IPS panels, offering fast response times and support for adaptive refresh rates. As noted by George Toh, vice president and general manager of Lenovo’s Visual Solutions division, these models allow gamers to choose a balance between speed and resolution depending on their playstyle.

The Legion 27Q-20 features QHD resolution (2560×1440), a 320 Hz refresh rate, a 1 ms GtG response time, and a 0.5 ms MPRT. It supports AMD FreeSync Premium, Adaptive Sync, and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible. Focus View mode creates a 24.5-inch viewing area with darkened edges for an esports-style display.

Lenovo Legion 27U-20 Monitor

Thanks to Dual Mode, the Legion 27U-20 allows you to switch between UHD (3840×2160) at 180 Hz and FHD at 360 Hz. The display supports Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture functions and is equipped with a USB hub. Both monitors cover 99% of the sRGB and 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamuts, feature factory calibration with Delta E < 2, are VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified, and have a brightness of 400 nits.

Legion Space’s AI features include AI Crosshair, Game Companion, AI Walkthrough, and Win-Moment Show. The stands support full screen position adjustment. Natural Low Blue Light and Eyesafe 2.0 technologies reduce eye strain, while HDMI 2.1 FRL and DisplayPort 1.4 interfaces provide connectivity for signal sources.
