Logitech has unveiled the new generation of its premium-class professional presenter, the Spotlight 2. The device features haptic feedback, digital tools for highlighting specific elements on slides, customization options via the Logi Options+ app, and a controlled breathing function.

“Whether someone speaks every day or is taking the stage for the first time, it’s natural to feel nervous,” said Joseph Mingori, vice president and general manager at Logitech. ” Spotlight 2 is designed to be a reliable support in those moments. The combination of tactile features that help the speaker feel more confident and digital capabilities that hold the audience’s attention takes presentations to a whole new level.”

One of Spotlight 2’s key features is haptic feedback. When the highlight button is pressed, the device vibrates to confirm that the command has been executed. This helps ensure that the presentation is proceeding exactly as planned. Another new feature is the controlled breathing system. The breathing exercise, implemented using haptic feedback and available in the Logi Options+ app, helps you focus and feel more confident before you begin your presentation.

The presenter’s design ensures intuitive control. The buttons are easily distinguishable by touch, allowing you to use the device without taking your eyes off the audience, and the updated design provides a more comfortable and secure grip.

For working with presentations, Spotlight 2 offers not only a Class 1 laser pointer but also a digital pointer with four modes for interacting with slides: Spotlight, Magnify, Squarelight, and Annotation. This allows you to effectively draw attention to key details during both in-person and hybrid presentations.

Users can also customize the device’s functionality via the Logi Options+ app. In particular, the Action Button can be configured to quickly execute desired commands, such as starting a presentation, dimming the screen, or muting the sound.

Spotlight 2 supports connectivity via Bluetooth or the included Logi Bolt USB-C receiver. The wireless range is up to 30 m. A single full charge lasts up to three months, and just one minute of charging provides up to three hours of battery life. The device is compatible with PowerPoint, Google Slides, and Keynote on computers running Windows and macOS.

In addition, the company focused on sustainability during the development of Spotlight 2. The aluminum body is manufactured using renewable energy, and the plastic components of the Graphite, Sand, Light Lilac, and Black models contain 43% recycled plastic. FSC-certified paper is used for packaging.
