Motorola is preparing to launch a new mid-range smartphone Edge 70 Fusion, which, according to published leaks, will receive a significant upgrade in performance compared to the previous generation. The information comes from a well-known insider Evan Blass, who has repeatedly confirmed his reliability. The Edge 70 Fusion is expected to feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, refresh rate of up to 144 Hz, and peak brightness of up to 5200 nits. The screen will have curved glass on four sides and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor combined with 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage will be responsible for performance.

The camera unit features a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA main sensor, as well as a 32-megapixel front camera. One of the key features of the device will be a 7000 mAh battery with 68W fast charging support, which should provide long battery life.
According to the leaks, the smartphone will feature a nylon and linen-inspired back panel and several Pantone color options, including Orient Blue, Sporting Green, Blue Surf, Country Air, and Silhouette. The device will comply with the MIL-STD-810H military ruggedness standard and will be IP68 and IP69 rated for dust and water resistance.
Edge 70 Fusion software support will include at least three guaranteed operating system updates. This makes the model even more attractive for users who expect a long device life cycle.

Although the exact date of the smartphone presentation has not yet been disclosed, the available specifications indicate that the Edge 70 Fusion will be one of the most significant updates to the Fusion line in recent years and will be noticeably different from the previous generation.
