Motorola is expected to announce the Razr 70 Ultra (or Razr Ultra (2026) if you’re reading this from the US) in the near future. It’s been just a couple of weeks since the famous insider Onleaks shared renders of this smartphone, and now he has presented some new images of the Razr 70 Ultra in stunning Pantone Cocoa Wood and Orient Blue Alcantara colors.
These colors were first mentioned only last week. For comparison, the Razr 60 Ultra debuted last year in Pantone Rio Red, Scarab, Mountain Trail, and Cabaret. This gives reason to expect that the Razr 70 Ultra will also not be limited to just two colors Cocoa Wood and Orient Blue Alcantara, but will receive one or two additional options.

Just like its predecessor, the Razr 70 Ultra was initially depicted with a standard front-facing camera located in the center. However, in the new renders, the front panel of the Razr 70 Ultra, at least externally, does not show such a module, which is somewhat surprising. There is a version that the manufacturer simply did not show the front camera in the images, although this seems unlikely. Another hypothesis involves the use of a camera under the screen, which looks more plausible but has not yet been confirmed.

The smartphone is expected to have a 7″ main AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 165 Hz, as well as a 4″ external AMOLED screen with the same frequency. Other specifications include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB of flash storage, and 12 GB and 16 GB of RAM configurations. The camera module will include two 50-megapixel lenses, and the device will run Android 16. When unfolded, the dimensions will be 171.3×74.1×7.8 mm, and when folded, 88×74.1×15.8 mm.

It is worth noting that none of these characteristics has been confirmed yet, although they all seem quite likely and largely repeat the parameters of the Razr 60 Ultra. The new product is expected to become a serious competitor for both the current Galaxy Flip7 and the upcoming Galaxy Flip8.
Some leaks also mention the same 4700 mAh battery as in the previous generation, but this is doubtful, as the Razr 70 Ultra will be slightly thicker than its predecessor. This, in turn, could open up the possibility of increasing the battery capacity to almost 5000 mAh or even more.

Whether this model will become a real hit depends on one key factor that has not yet been disclosed, namely the price. Obviously, the Razr 70 Ultra has to keep the price at the level of the previous generation to really become massively popular. But this raises doubts against the backdrop of the recent announcement of the Moto G Stylus (2026) with a recommended price of $500, as well as the increase in the cost of the Moto G Play (2026), Moto G (2026), and Moto G Power (2026) models. Well, everything will become clear during the official presentation, which insiders expect by the end of this month.
