Samsung has expanded its Galaxy F lineup by introducing the new Galaxy F70e smartphone. The device belongs to the budget segment, but stands out for its unusual design with a leather back cover.
The company rarely uses alternative materials, usually limiting itself to glass or plastic, so the new product has joined the short list of Samsung smartphones with this design.

Galaxy F70e is equipped with a 6.7-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution (1600 × 720) and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The declared peak brightness is 800 nits. Performance is handled by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, which is paired with 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM. The internal storage capacity is 128 GB regardless of configuration, and the microSD slot allows you to expand the memory up to 2 TB.
The smartphone has a dual main camera with a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, while the front camera has a resolution of 8 megapixels. Autonomy is ensured by a 6000 mAh battery, which, according to the manufacturer, provides up to 2 days of operation. Wired fast charging with a capacity of 25 W is supported, but the charging adapter will have to be purchased separately.

The Galaxy F70e has IP54 dust and splash protection, a dual hybrid nano-SIM slot, a 3.5 mm audio jack, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, and support for 12 5G bands. The smartphone runs on One UI 8 based on Android 16. Samsung promises 6 years of operating system and security updates, which looks unusually generous for a budget model.

The novelty is available in Limelight Green and Spotlight Blue colors. The price is ~$143/€120 for the version with 4 GB of RAM and ~$165/€139 for the 6 GB configuration. Sales will start on February 17.
