realme has officially unveiled the P4 Power smartphone, which is the brand’s first production device with a 10001 mAh silicon-carbon battery. The company positions the model as a record-breaker in terms of battery life and body endurance. The launch took place less than a year after the demonstration of the concept smartphone. The new realme P4 Power uses a new generation of silicon-carbon battery. According to the manufacturer, the battery retains at least 80% of its original capacity even after 8 years of use. The battery life is 1650 charging cycles, which exceeds the performance of traditional lithium-ion batteries.

On a full charge, the smartphone can play BGMI for almost 12 hours without interruption or play YouTube videos for over 32 hours. Navigation can work for over 21 hours, and 4K video recording is available for up to 12 hours. Even with 5% of the charge remaining, the user can expect almost 4 hours of voice calls or more than 1 hour of navigation.
It is this kind of autonomy that allows realme to claim a potential lifespan of up to 8 years. According to the company’s internal estimates, the average user will make about 392 fewer charging cycles in 4 years than with a standard smartphone. Additionally, the silicon carbon battery can withstand 150-200 more cycles than its classic counterparts.

At the same time, the software support looks more modest. The smartphone comes with Android 16 and the Realme UI 7.0 shell and will receive only 3 years of operating system updates and another 1 year of security patches. This means that the software will end support much earlier than the battery life. Another limitation is the Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset, which is unlikely to meet modern requirements for the full 8 years.
realme P4 Power supports 80W fast charging. The smartphone can restore 50% of the charge in 36 minutes. For a battery with a capacity of 10001 mAh, this is the equivalent of a large energy reserve. It’s worth noting that the maximum speed is only available with SuperVOOC adapters, while USB PD PPS chargers are limited to 55W. Realme also emphasizes reverse charging capabilities. Thanks to 27W support, the smartphone is able to charge an iPhone 16 Pro with a 3582 mAh battery up to 50% in 27 minutes, effectively acting as a powerful power bank.

Despite the giant battery, realme managed to maintain relatively compact dimensions. The body is 9.08 mm thick and weighs 219 g. For comparison, the realme P4x with a 7000 mAh battery weighs only 11 g less with a thickness of 8.4 mm.
The smartphone is designed to work in difficult conditions. The battery is designed for stable operation in the temperature range from minus 30 °C to 56 °C. The device has passed compression and drop tests from a height of 1 m. The case protection complies with IP66, IP68 and IP69 standards. The smartphone was tested when immersed to a depth of 2 m, as well as when exposed to hot water at 85 °C and cold water at 0 °C.
Otherwise, the model is close to the basic realme P4. The smartphone has a 6.8-inch display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The panel has a resolution of 1280 × 2800 pixels and a peak brightness of up to 6500 nits. The main camera is a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with f/1.8 aperture and optical stabilization. The camera supports 4K video recording at 30 frames per second and night portrait mode with bokeh. Additionally, there is an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle module with a 112° viewing angle, and the front camera has a 16-megapixel resolution and an 85° viewing angle. The Dimensity 7400 Ultra processor works in conjunction with a cooling system that includes a 4613 mm² steam chamber and a large 13743 mm² graphite sheet.
realme P4 Power is available in Flash Orange and Power Silver colors. Both versions have a two-piece back design. The lower part has a matte finish, while the upper transparent area allows you to see the internal elements of the smartphone, including the NFC coil.
