vivo has begun to reveal key details about its upcoming foldable smartphone, the vivo X Fold 6, ahead of its official debut scheduled for later this month. The manufacturer has confirmed the introduction of one of the most extensive hardware updates for this foldable model, indicating a significant focus on AI-powered productivity features and optimization of the multi-window experience on the big screen.
According to the official information from vivo, the vivo X Fold 6 will be the first mobile device on the market to be equipped with the Dimensity 9500 Super Edition processor. Representatives of the brand note that this is not a basic modification of the flagship platform from MediaTek. Instead, vivo and MediaTek started working together on this project about two years ago with the goal of creating a specialized chip adapted to the design features of foldable gadgets.

The new proprietary voice AI system provides a 7-fold increase in the speed of offline audio transcription along with a 7% improvement in speech recognition accuracy. Additionally, vivo reports a 57% speedup in the process of generating text summaries, which will be a significant advantage for users who regularly use AI tools to analyze work meetings and conferences.
To work with a variety of documents, AI File Manager has received additional improvements to its ability to process large language models. As a result, creating summaries of text files and generating answers to questions using AI is about 20% faster, and the company is going to introduce a completely new feature of topical questions based on artificial intelligence.
The exclusive hardware platform also powers an updated parallel computing engine designed specifically for improved interaction with the Atomic Workbench interface.
