Next fall, a limited edition Xbox Series X console and gamepad will go on sale in a translucent green color. The release of the 25th anniversary collection dedicated to the Xbox brand is scheduled for November.

Xbox Corporation is preparing to release a festive modification of its Series X game console and controller, which will receive a signature translucent color called OG Green. Fans will be able to purchase the Xbox Series X25 Limited Edition bundle along with the Xbox Wireless Controller X25 Special Edition. At the same time, those who do not plan to buy a new console will be able to purchase this gamepad separately. The line is expected to appear on store shelves in November this year in selected markets, but Xbox representatives have not yet disclosed the exact cost of the new products.

In the official release, Jason Ronald, Vice President of Next Generation, noted that the developers have applied the concept of a translucent case for the first time to a Series X device. This visual style was inspired by the very first Xbox console and the same legendary green hue that many gamers remember well.

According to him, the Xbox Series X25 Limited Edition is a tribute to the brand’s historical heritage, while retaining all the technical power and performance of the classic Series X model, including the 1TB drive. The design reflects the company’s journey and symbolizes unity with the community that has supported it throughout.

The appearance of the devices contains several obvious references to previous generations of the company’s gaming systems. In particular, the branded “X” button will now be highlighted in green, and the ABXY keys on the controller will have their original color. In addition, Jason Ronald hinted at a few hidden surprises in the design that will be a kind of gratitude for loyal players. Xbox assures that more detailed information about the pricing policy and sales geography will be made public in the near future.
