The Ukrainian studio RetroStyle Games released its cooperative horror game Last Pirates: Die Together on Steam as part of the Ukrainian Games Festival 2026. The game launched in Early Access. Ahead of the release, the developers unveiled a trailer celebrating the game’s launch, showcasing updates to the full version that were not included in the playtests or the demo.

Following the demo, the developers added two new locations, six new enemy types, and new musical instruments to the game (characters can now play the piano, flute, and guitar). The lighting and graphics were also updated. The studio added a mode for streamers, a full-fledged tutorial, and the ability to receive invitations via Steam.

In Last Pirates: Die Together, players form a team of up to four members who must explore a dangerous island, collect all valuable items, and then make it back to their ship alive. They’ll face monsters, traps, and… their own clumsiness, as the physics of the players’ elastic arms turn any interaction between team members into utter chaos.

Players must work together, communicate, and save one another – all so that the old captain can become rich and happy. But there’s a catch – the characters’ incredibly long arms let them grab, pull, and break objects, all while turning the entire island upside down. Traps, monsters, and other creatures won’t let players relax, so if the situation gets tense, the best solution might be to hide.

Before its early access release, Last Pirates: Die Together racked up over 220,000 Steam wishlist adds. In addition, a demo of the game became available in June 2026 as part of Steam Next Fest, and it ranked among the festival’s top 50 most popular titles. The developers noted that for Ukrainian players, Last Pirates: Die Together will cost 159 UAH. And during the launch period, which runs through September 1, the game can be purchased at a 20% discount.
