The Remote Reaper: FPV Drone simulator has received update 0.9.0, which is the largest update in terms of new content since the game’s release. The key change is a full-featured drone editor, which allows pilots to create their own configurations by selecting the frame, camera, motors, propellers, and weaponry. This allows players to tailor their equipment to specific missions, as each component will directly affect flight performance.

Motors can also be installed in a coaxial configuration, providing additional thrust at the cost of increased battery consumption and reduced stability. Created configurations can be saved in custom presets and selected with a single tap before starting a mission. In addition, the editor has been updated with new features, including a new type of warhead that forces pilots to use the mid-air detonation mode.

The developer has completely revamped the weather and lighting system. It now allows you to adjust fog, rain, thunderstorms, and wind gusts, which directly affect both visibility and the drone’s behavior in flight. The settings menu has also been completely redesigned, which has resolved long-standing issues and added audio and visual effects to the interface. At the same time, localization has been expanded to seven languages: Ukrainian, English, Polish, German, French, Spanish, and Portuguese.

In addition to these key innovations, the update introduced mission parameter templates, the ability to join sessions that are already in progress, a fix for a crash during detonation in multiplayer, and a major content cleanup. As a result, the build size has been reduced by approximately 2.5 times – it now requires less than 4.5 GB instead of 11 GB.

Currently, the Remote Reaper: FPV Drone simulator is available on Steam Early Access for 299 UAH. The game is being developed by independent Ukrainian developer Vladyslav Fomenko in collaboration with active FPV drone pilots, and new updates are released regularly, incorporating feedback from players. The game features realistic flight physics, including simulation of electronic warfare systems. The simulator supports all popular FPV controllers, such as RadioMaster, DJI FPV, TBS, and BetaFPV, as well as standard gamepads, and also features a simplified control mode using a keyboard and mouse.
