Remote Reaper is a combat simulation game for FPV drones, developed in collaboration with active-duty military pilots. The game simulates enemy interference with control and video signals, limited battery life, changing weather conditions, as well as various ground and air targets, each with its own vulnerabilities.

Remote Reaper launched on Steam Early Access last spring and currently has a 92% positive rating based on over 230 reviews. During its time in Early Access, the developers have added online co-op, a mission editor, and Steam Workshop support, as well as new features for assembling and customizing drones, and expanded support for FPV equipment. A free demo of Remote Reaper is now available on Steam, and until August 24, the simulator can be purchased at a 20% discount as part of the Ukrainian Games Festival 2026.

Remote Reaper supports popular FPV equipment, gamepads, and keyboard-and-mouse controls. There are two control modes: realistic mode uses full flight physics, while simplified mode with keyboard and mouse is designed for beginners and automatically maintains altitude. The game also features various targets and combat conditions. Players will have to complete missions against armored vehicles, ground forces, and aerial targets, each of which requires a different approach. Communication with the drone is affected by various electronic warfare (EW) measures, terrain, and obstacles.

The drone editor allows you to select the frame, motors, propellers, camera, antenna, and payload depending on the specific objective. The weight of the assembled drone affects battery consumption and flight duration. Weather conditions in Remote Reaper also change dynamically. Rain and fog reduce visibility, wind affects flight, and changes in the time of day alter lighting and the conditions for carrying out combat missions.

In online co-op, players can team up with other pilots to carry out combat missions together. And the mission editor lets you create your own combat scenarios, set targets, configure enemy defenses and electronic warfare, and then share your custom missions with the community via Steam Workshop.
