The Kharkiv-based studio SolidCore Games has unveiled a new gameplay trailer for its cinematic adventure puzzle game Floralis, which tells the story of survival in a world ruled by carnivorous plants. The trailer premiered at the Ukrainian Games Festival 2026. In the video, the developers showcased new locations, puzzles, and dangerous plants that populate their horror platformer.

Floralis tells the story of sisters born from a tree. After her twin sister goes missing, the main character sets out to find her through the ruins of human civilization, where plants have taken control of the world. It’s a haunting story about survival, memory, and the primal power of nature. Among their main sources of inspiration, the developers cite the cinematic adventure-puzzle games INSIDE, Little Nightmares, and Planet of Lana.

Floralis is currently in development for PC and Xbox Series X|S. A demo of the game is already available on Steam and the Xbox Store.
In the game, you’ll have to hide, sneak, or flee from trap flowers, suffocating vines, and other aggressive vegetation that seeks to turn the heroine into fertilizer. The puzzles are built around interacting with the natural world. Players must manipulate light, weight, and movement to make the plants reveal hidden paths, avoid their traps, or even use their power to their advantage.

The game’s environment is also interactive. Players will explore ruins and discover toys, mechanisms, and artifacts from the past. With their help, you’ll be able to understand what happened to the world and learn more about the heroine’s inner world.
In addition, SolidCore Games plans to showcase Floralis at Gamescom 2026. Attendees will be able to play a demo at the Games From Ukraine booth (F-021g) in the Entertainment Area from August 26 to 30.
