At Lenovo Innovation World, held as part of IFA 2025, Motorola showcased its latest smartphones from the edge and moto g series. The lineup includes devices aimed at different user needs: the compact Motorola edge 60 neo with upgraded cameras, the budget-friendly moto g06 with a large display, and the moto g06 power featuring an exceptionally large battery.

The moto g06 series combines an affordable price, a large display, and extended battery life. It includes two models – moto g06 and moto g06 power – which differ in some specifications but both feature the largest screen in moto g history: a 6.88-inch HD+ LCD panel with peak brightness up to 600 nits. An additional feature is Water Touch technology, which keeps the screen fully responsive even when using it with wet fingers.

The moto g06 power features a substantial 7,000 mAh battery, capable of delivering over two and a half days of heavy use. Even after 1,000 charge cycles, the battery retains more than 80% of its original capacity. Despite the large display and massive battery, the device remains relatively slim, measuring just 8.82 mm thick and weighing 220 g. Both models are powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio G81 Extreme processor.

The new models also offer notable multimedia features. Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Bass Boost deliver clear, immersive sound. The 50 MP main camera, enhanced with AI, captures sharp photos in various lighting conditions, while an 8 MP front-facing camera handles selfies and video calls.

Motorola’s designers focused on both aesthetics and functionality for the new smartphones. The bodies, inspired by Pantone colors, are made from high-quality, fingerprint-resistant materials, and a practical case is included. The devices carry an IP64 rating, offering protection against dust and accidental splashes, while the display is safeguarded by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

The smartphones also include modern software features. Both models support Google Circle to Search, enabling quick access to information and task planning without switching apps. Additionally, AI-based tools can apply studio-style effects to portraits or enhance low-light photos.

The Motorola edge 60 neo is the lightest smartphone in its class, positioned as the successor to the well-received edge 50 neo. It will be offered in three unique color options developed in collaboration with Pantone: Frostbite, Poinciana, and Grisaille.

With a smaller-than-average screen size and an extremely slim design, the edge 60 neo easily fits into pockets or small bags. The smartphone meets MIL-STD-810H standards, indicating strong durability under challenging conditions. It also offers water and dust resistance with IP69 and IP68 ratings, and the display is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i, providing additional security against accidental drops. The 6.36-inch pOLED screen delivers impressive brightness for this class, reaching up to 3,000 nits.

The edge 60 neo’s strong point is its photographic capabilities. Users get:

  • 50 MP main module Sony LYTIA 700C with OIS
  • 13 MP ultra-wide-angle module (with macro mode)
  • 10 MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom
  • 32 MP front camera.

The Enhancement Engine improves detail and color reproduction, while the portrait mode offers four focal lengths and adjustable bokeh effects. Adaptive stabilization ensures smooth 4K video recording. The phone also includes the moto ai assistant, which simplifies daily use – from suggesting next actions based on on-screen content to generating graphics within the Image Studio app.
