Today, Google officially unveiled its new Pixel 11 smartphone series at the Made by Google event. As expected, the series includes four smartphones: the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Along with these, the tech giant unveiled the Pixel Watch 5 smartwatch, as well as a completely new device for the company – a Bluetooth tracker under the Pixel brand.

Google Pixel 11

The Google Pixel 11 series isn’t a radical departure from the previous generation, though it does offer some updates. The Pro models feature a new function called HiLight – an array of RGB LEDs around the rear camera module that notifies users of alerts and other important events. All smartphones are powered by the new Google Tensor G6 processor, which is more powerful and energy-efficient. Additionally, Google has discontinued the 128 GB flash memory version, and all models in the lineup start at 256 GB.

Google Pixel 11 Pro XL

All new Pixel 11 devices come with Android 17 and offer security features, including Satellite SOS, car crash detection, and the Android Earthquake Alerts System. The tech giant announced that pre-orders are now open, and the devices will go on sale on August 20.

The Pixel 11 is the smallest device in the lineup. It features a 6.3-inch Actua OLED display with a resolution of 2424×1080, an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, and a maximum brightness of 3,000 nits. The smartphone comes with 12 GB of RAM and 256 or 512 GB of storage.

The rear panel also houses a 48 MP main camera, a 13 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 10.8 MP telephoto lens. The front-facing camera has a resolution of 10.5 MP. Other features include a 4,985 mAh battery with support for 30W wired charging and Qi2 wireless charging, as well as IP68 water and dust resistance. The Pixel 11 starts at $899 in the U.S. and €999 in Europe.

The Pixel 11 Pro features a 6.3-inch Super Active LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 2856×1280 and an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The device has 16 GB of RAM and 256 or 512 GB of storage. Under the hood is a 4,850 mAh battery that supports 30 W wired charging and Qi2 wireless charging.

The Pixel 11 Pro’s main camera has a resolution of 50 MP, the ultra-wide-angle sensor is 48 MP, the periscope telephoto lens is 48 MP, and a 42-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The Pixel 11 Pro starts at $1,099 in the U.S. and will cost €1,199 in Europe.

The Pixel 11 Pro XL features a 6.8-inch Super Active LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 2992×1344, an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, and a peak brightness of 3,600 nits. The device is equipped with a 5,115 mAh battery that supports 45 W wired charging and Qi2 wireless charging, and it is IP68-rated for water resistance.

Google Pixel 11 Pro XL

The rear panel features a 50 MP main camera, a 48 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 48 MP periscope telephoto lens. The smartphone also features a 42 MP front-facing camera. The Pixel 11 Pro XL offers up to 16 GB of RAM and storage options of 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB. The starting price in the U.S. is $1,299, and in Europe, it is €1,199.

Pixel 11 Pro Fold

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold’s main screen is a 6.5-inch Super Actua display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a maximum brightness of up to 3,600 nits. The 8-inch inner display has a resolution of 2,076×2,152, supports HDR, and features an adaptive refresh rate. The device comes with up to 16 GB of RAM, as well as 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB of storage. Under the hood is a 4,806 mAh battery that lasts up to 24 hours and supports 30 W charging and Qi2 wireless charging.

Pixel 11 Pro Fold

The rear panel features three cameras: a 48 MP wide-angle sensor, a 10.5 MP ultra-wide-angle camera with Macro Focus, and a 10.8 MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom and up to 30x Super Zoom. Both screens also feature 10-megapixel selfie cameras. Google also notes that the Pixel 11 Pro Fold features ultra-durable protective glass made of ceramic and glass, as well as IP68-rated dust and water resistance.

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold starts at $1,899 and will be available in Olive and Obsidian.

Pixel Watch 5

Along with the new smartphones, Google unveiled the latest Pixel Watch 5 smartwatch running on Wear OS, featuring a new, improved processor and more accurate GPS tracking. The round watch is available in 41- and 45-mm sizes and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 Accelerated processor, combined with an energy-efficient dual-chip architecture. The Pixel Watch 5 features an Actua 360 display with a brightness of 3,000 nits, sensors that track sleep stages 15% more accurately, the Smart Wake feature, new strength training tools, and new watch faces. Battery life remains at up to 30 hours for the 41 mm model and up to 40 hours for the 45 mm version.

Pixel Watch 5

The Pixel Watch 5 debuts the Breathing Emergency Detection feature, which uses sensors and on-device AI to detect a significant and prolonged drop in blood oxygen saturation, after which it can contact emergency services and transmit the user’s location. The feature will initially be available in Europe.

The Pixel Watch 5 starts at $399 for the 41 mm model and $429 for the 45 mm version. Pre-orders are now open, and sales will begin on August 20. The 45mm Stephen Curry Special Edition will go on sale on September 3 for $579. All Pixel Watch 5 buyers will receive a three-month free subscription to Google Health Premium.

Pixel Tag

At the event, Google unveiled its first Bluetooth tracker, called the Pixel Tag, priced at $30. It’s integrated into the Android Find Hub network. You can locate it and make it emit an audible alert using the Pixel Watch, or do so via Gemini on Pixel Buds. In addition to Bluetooth connectivity, the Tag is equipped with an ultra-wideband chip for precise location tracking.

The Tag measures 4.57 × 2.79 × 0.51 cm and weighs about 11 g, including the battery. Google states that the Tag should last for a year before the battery needs to be replaced. The device is made of polycarbonate and metal and is designed to withstand submersion in water up to one meter deep for 30 minutes.
