Huawei’s Nova series is preparing for a significant hardware upgrade. The Nova 16 model has been leaked online, and the available details are already enough to form a complete picture of the device. Two key features immediately attract attention and make this model potentially interesting for the market.
According to the available information, Nova 16 may receive a higher-density battery of approximately 7000 mAh. This is a notable step up from previous generations of the series, which is directly targeted at users with heavy workloads and all-day and longer usage scenarios. It is also reported that for the first time, the Nova line will use a 9-series processor, which previously remained the prerogative of flagship models. This means bringing the performance level of the top segment to a more affordable category.

However, the main element in the leaks seems to be the appearance of the 9-series processor in the Nova lineup. Previously, such chips were used mainly in the flagship Mate and P series. Their transfer to the mid-range segment may indicate either the stabilization of production processes or a strategic decision to make Nova more competitive against other powerful mid-range smartphones.
