Lenovo has unveiled its next-generation Tab Plus Gen 2 tablet, designed for those who need a device not only for viewing content, but also for learning, working, and everyday tasks. Thanks to improvements in audio and video capabilities, versatility, and smart features, this new device expands the range of use cases.

“Today, entertainment isn’t tied to a single location or a familiar scenario,” said Tony Chen, vice president of the tablet division at Lenovo’s Smart Devices Group. “People easily switch between work, travel, and leisure, and they expect their devices to adapt just as naturally to this rhythm. With the Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2, we’ve created a device that keeps pace with this lifestyle, giving users the freedom to enjoy content on their own terms.”

The benefits of the Tab Plus Gen 2’s multi-layered sound will be especially noticeable when watching content. The JBL Pro audio system features 9 speakers and is tuned using Dolby Atmos technology, delivering clearer dialogue, richer sound, and deeper bass. The tablet supports Bluetooth speaker mode, allowing you to use it as a standalone speaker system to play music or podcasts from your smartphone. For additional customization, Dolby Audio technology includes Dynamic, Movie, and Music modes that adapt the sound to different types of content.

The Tab Plus Gen 2 is equipped with a 12.1-inch LCD screen with 2.5K resolution, Dolby Vision, and HDR10 support. It has a peak brightness of up to 800 nits in High Brightness Mode, allowing for comfortable use of the tablet both indoors and outdoors in direct sunlight.
The new model features a 360° rotating stand that supports various positions in both portrait and landscape orientations. The “Tilt,” “Theater,” “Stand,” and “Hang” modes allow you to adapt the device to different usage scenarios. Additionally, in standby mode, the Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2 can function as a digital photo frame.

A carrying case was designed specifically for this model; it features a shoulder strap and makes it easy to transport the tablet between rooms, while traveling, and in everyday life. This allows the device to seamlessly integrate into users’ daily routines.

The tablet is compatible with the Lenovo Tab Pen Plus stylus, the Lenovo Wireless Keyboard, and the Lenovo 68W USB-C power adapter (all accessories sold separately).
