Logitech has announced that the MX Master 4 mouse is now fully compatible with Windows 11 haptic notifications. This innovation will allow owners to experience physical vibration while navigating the OS, without having to install any proprietary utilities to get the basic functionality.
Kinetic feedback is triggered when performing a variety of everyday tasks in Windows 11, including precisely positioning elements on PowerPoint slides, zoning and pinning windows to the screen, and navigating between different virtual spaces.

This innovation is designed to make computer control much more natural and speed up the execution of tasks while working with many programs and applications simultaneously. The product was developed with professionals in various fields and programmers in mind.
The MX Master 4 is the first productivity mouse to be fully compatible with the Windows 11 haptic architecture. Logitech management emphasizes that this integration opens the way for independent developers to implement vibration effects in their own software products for this OS.

Standard tactile impulses function right out of the box without installing additional software, which is a significant advantage for corporate customers who have strict rules about the use of third-party programs. However, to access detailed configurations, the proprietary Logi Options+ application is provided, where the user can adjust the vibration intensity and define specific conditions for its appearance.
The transmission of tactile signals is realized both via a wireless Bluetooth connection and with the help of the proprietary Logi Bolt adapter. To use the technology, you will need the latest version of Windows 11 with vibration feedback support and the latest version of the mouse’s firmware. To preserve the energy of the internal battery, the automation automatically deactivates the vibration functions as soon as the charge level drops below 10%.

The MX Master 4, which will go on sale in the fall of 2026, will receive the necessary firmware directly from the factory.
