Logitech has just announced the Mobi Fold, a new $79.99 wireless mouse that folds in half for easy transportation. The new product is designed for users who often work away from home or office – in coffee shops, airports, or coworking spaces – but don’t want to be limited to a laptop trackpad or cramming a full-size mouse into their bag.
Thanks to its built-in hinge mechanism, this gadget can transform from a compact 66-by-21 mm unit into a full-fledged ergonomic mouse with a symmetrical design that fits both hands.

The manufacturer emphasizes that when deployed, when the dimensions are 122 by 33 mm, the device helps reduce forearm strain compared to working on the touch panel, and when finished, it can be quickly folded and hidden directly in a clothing pocket. The folding process also serves as a power management method. Unfolding the device activates its operation, and closing it with a slight movement completely shuts down the system. Since bending the structure could provoke accidental presses, the specialists integrated a small AI model inside, whose main task is to ignore button clicks when the hinge moves. The outer part of the device is protected by a silicone cover that resists dust accumulation, and the internal bending mechanism, according to the developers, is designed for 15 years of daily use.
The hardware of the mouse weighing 79 g is based on the PixArt PAW3222 optical sensor with a resolution of 4000 DPI. Instead of a traditional wheel, a touch pad is used for navigation, which supports adaptive scrolling: from precise line-by-line reading to fast inertial scrolling. The same touch area contains two programmable keys, which can be customized using the Logi Options+ proprietary application.

The main right and left buttons are equipped with switches with silent click technology. For wireless connectivity, Mobi Fold uses the energy-efficient Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0 protocol and is able to support simultaneous pairing with three different devices, providing quick switching between a laptop, tablet, and smartphone. In addition, it is the first product of the brand to be certified by Google Fast Pair, which significantly speeds up the process of connecting to Android devices and Chromebooks.
The integrated 100 mAh battery provides approximately 32 days of battery life on a single full charge. If the battery runs out completely while traveling, just one minute of charging via the USB-C port will bring the mouse back to life for about 22 hours. However, users will have to use their own wire, as the manufacturer does not include a power cable in the package.

Along with the basic modification, the brand offers an enterprise variant for $89.99, which is equipped with a proprietary Logi Bolt USB-C receiver to improve connection security, as well as an extended two-year warranty. The standard version of the Mobi Fold will go on sale globally in graphite color, while the mauve and pale white variants will be available only in select markets. In other company news, Logitech recently demonstrated the G512 X gaming keyboard, which is based on advanced analog TMR technology.
