Logitech has unveiled the MX Keypad, the first AI control center in the MX lineup. The device is designed for programming using multiple applications and AI agents and was developed based on feedback from the GitHub and Logitech MX Collective communities. With the MX Keypad, developers can manage workflows, run commands, apply prompt macros, and refactor code in GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, VS Code, and IntelliJ IDEA.
The device supports multiple development platforms, and its features can be customized to fit individual workflows. This allows developers to consolidate AI workflows, complex prompts, and programming tools into a single device. The MX Keypad also includes a set of plugins for GitHub Copilot and Claude Code, which were created and tested by developers.

“Today, programming proficiency depends on how easily developers can switch between an ever-widening range of AI tools,” said Anatoliy Polyanker, vice president and general manager at Logitech. “The MX Keypad puts a physical control center right at your fingertips, allowing you to manage AI-powered workflows faster and more intuitively.”
Logitech developed the MX Keypad in close collaboration with GitHub. From launch, the device will feature native integration with GitHub, including VS Code and the GitHub Copilot app. Going forward, Logitech plans to expand the MX Keypad’s capabilities to include other tools.

With every MX Keypad, users will receive three free months of GitHub Copilot Pro+. This offer can be activated through Logi Options+ and is available to both new and existing users. “Good developer tools shouldn’t get in the way of work,” emphasized Martin Woodward, Vice President of Developer Community at GitHub. “The MX Keypad makes working with GitHub Copilot a natural part of the workflow, so developers can spend less time navigating between tools and more time developing.”
The Logi Actions SDK enables software engineers to quickly build their own tools. The SDK documentation is optimized for AI, so developers can generate their own integrations directly from it.
The community has already posted plugins for Claude Code and OpenAI Codex on the Logi Marketplace. These allow developers to monitor agent status in real time and control the CLI using physical keys. The SDK supports over 100 million compatible Logitech devices.
In Ukraine, the MX Keypad will be available in graphite and light gray on the company’s official website. Additionally, Logitech uses certified recycled plastic from household waste to manufacture the MX Keypad. This material accounts for 64% of the graphite version and 49% of the light gray version. The packaging is made from paper sourced from FSC-certified forests and other controlled sources.
