Bigme has announced the release of an update for several of its E Ink devices, which significantly improves the smoothness of the user interface. Thanks to this update, select smartphones and e-readers from the manufacturer will be able to support a frame rate of 80 FPS.

This is truly an impressive feat for the industry, as devices with E Ink screens typically operate at much lower frame rates and may experience lag or ghosting. Thanks to the update from Bigme, reading, viewing content, and working with documents on E Ink devices will not only be safe for your eyes but also as comfortable as possible.

The update applies to four devices:

The new mode has already begun rolling out via OTA updates. To activate the new features and test the 80 FPS performance, device owners need to check for the mode’s availability in their device settings. To do this, go to the E Ink Center menu and enable Hyper Mode.

I wish e-ink screen smart phones should also be launched,with pen support; and e- screen on both sides, foldable so that on one side we would be able to attend any conference, meeting, FDP, and on the other side we can make notes using pen
