Nothing is set to expand its lineup of audio devices with a new pair of budget wireless earbuds called Ear (3a). The brand has officially confirmed the launch of these earbuds and revealed their release date. The new product will debut on July 7 at 1:00 p.m. Ukrainian time. Interestingly, the presentation will take place on the same day as the launch of Nothing’s Phone (4b) smartphone. It appears the developers have specifically organized a joint event to showcase elements of their ecosystem.

A short promotional video showcases the Ear (3a) in four original color options: white, black, yellow, and a new bright pink variant. The headphones retain Nothing’s signature semi-transparent style, but the expanded color palette adds a touch of individuality. Incidentally, the promotional teaser was filmed directly on the upcoming Phone (4b), which nicely ties both products together.

The manufacturer is currently holding off on announcing the official price, but according to preliminary leaks, the price will be similar to that of the previous Ear (a) version and will be approximately €99 on the European market. This will allow the model to firmly establish itself as an affordable option within Nothing’s “a” lineup.

The full list of technical specifications remains under wraps for now, although the public is hoping for improvements in sound quality, battery life, or the addition of wireless charging support for the case. Since this variant is positioned below the standard Ear (3) version, it will likely focus on flawlessly delivering core features: a comfortable fit, a stable connection, and seamless performance when paired with Nothing smartphones.

This move seems entirely logical for Nothing. The company is systematically building an original and appealing ecosystem, and the simultaneous announcement of the earbuds and a new phone creates a cohesive picture. For budget-conscious buyers who appreciate stylish and harmoniously integrated devices, this offering could prove very appealing.

With about a week left until the official launch, more detailed information regarding noise-cancellation technology, driver specifications, microphones, and battery capacity is expected to be released in the coming days.
