Nothing keeps its fans engaged by announcing the release of a new smartphone (4b), scheduled for July 7. Almost every day, the company shares a new tidbit of information. Recently, it shared a hand-drawn sketch of the smartphone, and now it has published a video where you can get a close look at the device from all angles.

The back panel draws the most attention. It appears that Nothing has used a single vertical Glyph Interface, borrowed from the Nothing Phone (4a). The smartphone also features a large rectangular camera module that spans nearly the entire width of the body. Inside it, two large cameras are arranged vertically on the left.

Between the camera module and the Glyph Bar is a capsule-shaped module housing an LED flash and another dark, round element. At first glance, it resembles another camera, but it is not aligned with the two main sensors and is smaller in size. It’s hard to say exactly what this component is at this point. It could be a separate sensor – such as a laser autofocus or a light sensor – or simply a decorative element.

The teaser also shows a flat frame with rounded corners, visible screws at the top of the back panel, and the familiar aesthetic that has become Nothing’s trademark. Additionally, a circular mark in the lower-left corner of the body catches the eye.

“The design embodies Nothing’s signature transparent aesthetic in a more expressive and youthful form thanks to the thoughtful placement of internal components, a crystal-clear finish, and the body’s smooth lines that flow seamlessly from the back panel to the frame,” according to a Nothing press release.

Nothing added that the Phone (4b)’s minimalist design is combined “with enhanced durability, improved structural stability, and a soft, skin-friendly finish designed for comfortable all-day use.” At the same time, the Phone (4b) has inherited several design elements from the CMF lineup.

Brand co-founder Akis Evangelidis explained what the letter “b” in the name means to Nothing. “It’s simply a continuation of our naming system. The numbers denote generations, and the letters represent different product segments,” he stated on his Twitter page. “The A series is our most popular smartphone lineup, embodying Nothing’s best design innovations while focusing on the most essential features. The B Series builds on the success of the A Series, expanding the lineup into a new segment while maintaining a clear product hierarchy.”

Nothing has not yet released official specifications, but information from Geekbench already provides a general idea of the device. The smartphone is expected to feature a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 (SM6650) processor, 8 GB of RAM, and Android 16. An insider has also revealed the color options for the new lineup.
