Oukitel has introduced the world’s first RG14-P industrial laptop with a ruggedized enclosure and built-in solar panel, which significantly extends the device’s battery life even in the absence of a centralized power supply. The laptop is designed for use in field and extreme environments where access to the network is limited, with an emphasis on reliability and energy independence
The model is equipped with a 14th Generation Intel Core i7-150U single-core processor with two high-performance cores up to 5.4 GHz and eight energy-efficient cores up to 4 GHz, 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and a 512 GB solid-state drive with expandable storage.

The key innovation of this model is the integrated photovoltaic panels on the display cover, which provide up to 10 W of charge from sunlight under optimal conditions. This allows you to restore approximately 50% of the battery capacity in six hours in the sun, making the laptop suitable for emergency recharging without mains power. The power system has a dual battery architecture – a 3000 mAh internal module and a removable 5200 mAh external module with a total capacity of 95 Wh. The external battery is hot-swappable, allowing you to change batteries without shutting down the notebook, reducing the risk of downtime for critical tasks.
The RG14-P display features a 14.1-inch 1080p touchscreen with up to 1000 nits of brightness for readability in direct sunlight. For added convenience in the field, a built-in camping light is provided, and an 8MP webcam with a 180-degree angle of rotation and a physical privacy shield can be magnetically attached above the screen.

The case is designed for use in harsh environments and is certified to IP68 and IP69K standards for protection against dust, shock, and short-term immersion in water, making the RG14-P suitable for use on construction sites, in the oil and gas industry, and in military and rescue operations. The laptop weighs about 3.7 kg and has a built-in carrying handle.
In terms of ports and connections, the device offers USB 3.2, HDMI, Ethernet (RJ45), RS232, NFC modules and a fingerprint scanner for secure access. The built-in 2 x 5W stereo speakers provide ample sound in noisy environments.
At the moment, no information on the price and launch date of RG14-P has been officially announced, as it is still a working prototype demonstrated at the exhibition.
